Current mood:zen
well here we are in london
tom writing here. i know most people use "face books" these days so maybe we've neglected the myspace. but i'll just write a few words for those who are interested in what we've been doing.

on mon we walked around and explored near the thames river and checked out the tower of london (from the outside - didnt have any quid in our pocketS) and the tate modern gallery (from the inside). then we had our first gig that night at the barfly in camden. the main difference with aus venues was that there were no couches or nothin in the band room so people just had to stand there looking psychedelic at you. and considering we only had 8 beers on our rider between us it was a bit intimidating nah actually it wasn't really i think we had a pretty good gig considering!
then on tuesdy we did some radio stuff and an instore gig in whitechapel of course i took the opportunity to show the boys the site of one of the infamous whitechapel murders as i just happened to notice we were walking past 29 hanbury st. we re-enacted some of the key moments and then the jack the ripper tour group turned up so we listened to that for a bit. the actual instore gig went pretty well - lots of people there! but still can't wait for a proper headline gig.
and on wedsdy i can't really remember what we did except we got to check out a place called old soho and carnaby st where dom bought a pete doherty style hat and had a few quiet pints in the oldest pub in england which was awesome.
well tonight is friday all the boys are sleeping in i'm going to feed the fish now so i'll sign off. but tonight is our big show at the lexington hotel and we're going to rock it high voltage style!
thanks for listening, lr

We need your help! "It's Alright" is 1 of 4 tracks selected for BBC Radio 2 Radcliffe and Maconie show single of the week. The winning track gets a play each day next week.
As such, please can you vote and also ask anyone else you feel comfortable with to vote too please!
here's the direct shortened link:

In the Comments section please put "Vote for Little Red" or "Little Red for Pick n Mix" or similar.

We're up against it...! Bad Lieutenant and Rumble Strips - with Bernard New Order behind Bad Lieutenant they've got to be favourites, but as Radcliffe said after playing "It's Alright": "I love that! I think we know who's going to win this, but you never know, do you?".

Hi Everyone,

You might have noticed that things have quieted down for us, after finishing our Here Comes The Night Tour in May. That’s because we’re taking a bit of time off to go fishing and record our next album. We’re really excited about our new songs and I think you will be too. We also have just signed a record deal with Lucky Number Music in London, so tell your British friends and family to stay tuned as they’ll be hearing from us very soon!

Speaking of albums, we recently released a limited tour edition version of ‘Listen to Little Red’ featuring a bonus DVD that includes some live clips and film clips as well for your viewing pleasure. These albums are strictly limited (never to be repeated) and are about to sell out, so if you want a copy head on down to JB HI FI, who are currently stocking the record.

We’re also playing a handful of shows between now and the end of the year:

Firstly we’re heading up to sunny Townsville to play the Townsville 400 Festival. On July 8th you can catch us headlining a concert on the beach with The Truants and The Short List as well. It all starts at 6.00pm, just head down to the foreshore across the road from The Strand Park.

Later in July we’re playing SPLENDOUR IN THE GRASS with an amazing bunch of Australian and International acts. If you don’t have tickets unfortunately the festival is completely sold out!

And later in the year we’ve been invited to head west and play our brand new songs at the inaugural One Movement Conference in Perth, which will feature Australian and International artists playing to both music industry delegates and fans alike. You can check out the line up and more information about the event here www.onemovementmusic.com

If you missed out on buying some merch from our recent tour, never fear because we have recently launched our online store with Big Woolly. Head to www.bigwoolly.com/littlered to check out our latest range of T Shirts, Hoodies and Dresses.

All the best,
Little Red ....
