REQUEST DtB's LOCKET & KEY VIDEO ON GREAT AMERICAN COUNTRY TV! Donna the Buffalo's music video for the song Locket & Key will debut on GAC, Great American Country TV, on the show Edge of Country starting the end of this week! The video was directed by Mary Stuart Masterson, who is best known for her role in Fried Green Tomatoes, and her husband, Jeremy Davidson, who appears in Army Wives, Law & Order and many other shows. In addition to airing on television, the video also will be streamed on both the GAC and CMT web sites and is currently available on DtB's MySpace page and YouTube. The band is very excited and would like to put out a "Calling All Herd" bulletin for requests. The more the video is requested, the more GAC will air it, which means the band will get more notice and better exposure! Request that GAC play Locket & Key by visiting http://online.scrippsnetworks.com/gac/gac_video/request.asp. You can request the video as often as once per day. And be sure to fill out the Request Message field to let GAC know what you like about the band and the video. Let's stampede GAC for the next several weeks with our love, good vibes and excitement!

Hello all you wild and crazy life lovin', music lovin' friends, Just want to tell you about our latest cool experience. We made our very first music video!!!! It is a video of the song Locket And Key and was directed by Mary Stuart Masterson and Jeremy Davidson. Yes Mary Stuart Masterson of Green Fried Tomatoes and many other films. It was so much fun and a great experience for the band. Everyone rallied stepped on board and became actors/musicians for a couple of days. How hysterical. We are excited - it came out pretty good really!!!
Watch for announcements of where and when it will be able to be seen!!!

Hello there all you wonderful folks!!! We are proud to announce the arrival of a new member of our clan - Dorothy Rose Gilbert!!!!!! Tom and his wife Nikki just had a baby girl on Sept. 15th. As some of you may have noticed he has been absent at some of our recent gigs. Important matter on the homefront!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway, he will be hitting the road once agin with us starting this thursday when we head out to Kent Ohio, Milvale, Pa. and then Falls Church, Va.
We have been fortunate these past several weeks with guest drummers!! As you can imagine it was quite stressful to take drummers on tour that we'd never played with!! We had four drummers help us out. Each and every one of them was excellent! First was Kevin Bregande from New Jersey. Kevin played Philly and NYC with us. The NYC gig was a big one for us and saved us!! He was terrific. Next was Mike Riddleberger from NYC who played with us in Hurricane Ike in Greenfield Mass., outside at a state fair!!!!! He was a trooper as he waded through the shin deep water between the bus and the stage. Fortunately Jordy had some tall rubber boots under the bus which I wore all night. Anyway, Mike is also a very talented drummer and a very sweet fella. Next was Vic Stafford from Atlanta. He is presently the drummer with Blueground Undergrass. He just happened to be available to play with us in Boston, Conneticut, Woodstock and Raleigh! An excellent drummer!!! Last but not least was Marlin Patton also from Atlanta. He helped us out in Charlotte and Atlanta. Truly great great drummer also!!!!!!!
As if being great drummers wasn't enough they were wonderful people, fun to have on the bus, real gamers, quick studies, and now are in our little drummer file cabinet!!!You never know if we might need a drummer again!!!!
Thank you Kevin,Mike,Vic,and Marlin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello gang, I just thought I'd drop in and formally introduce you all to our new band members. We've been having a good time and I hope you all are too! We miss Kathy alot for sure and are excited for her overseas adventure. It's actually very cool although we do look forward to her coming home to visit so we can grab her and have her sit in with us. On the other hand we are thrilled to have David McCracken playing keyboards. He is both a wonderful musician and great person. His addition to our sound has been extremely exciting and uplifting. He lives in Asheville, NC. So does our new bass player Jay Sanders!! So did Bill Reynolds!! ( who is also wonderful and whom we still miss). We seem to have a special relationship with Asheville. We also recorded alot of Silverlined there. And, lets not forget we are playing two nights there at the Orange Peel Dec. 30th and 31st!! Anyway, back to Jay Sanders. What a fantastic bass player!! Bill recommended him when he left to play with Band of Horses. Thank You Bill!! Jay is another great person and a real team player!. Well, so is David. We feel fortunate. When you think about it, it's amazing to find people who you have chemistry with both musically and personally!! Remember you're talking about close quarters on a bus - and I mean close!
We're happy to be able to continue our musical approach and vibe with new members - what a joy! I sometimes miss having another woman in the band - that "girlfriend" thing if ya get what I mean, but it's also great being the only one. I guess I've always been one of the guys really!! Well, cheers to you all!! Love, Tara

Hello everyone! Well we've taken a nice layed back time with our schedule so far this year. Lot's of time off to gather ourselves, finish the record and regroup. We've had all of June off except for the Wakarusa festival at the very beginning of the month, which by the way was quite the adventure. A 20 hour overnight(obviously), bus ride to Kansas the home of the Wizard Of Oz. Surrounded by several storm cells and tornados we only got to play the first of our two sets, which was a short hour and fifteen minutes. Then we headed for the hills or should I say the Holiday Inn and watched the most beautiful and horrifying lightning show we had ever seen!! Needless to say the rest of Thursday was canceled at the festival. We sure hope everyone made it to safety. That's show biz!!!!! We then drove 24 hours to NC to a fiddle festival on the way home. Quite the trip. We actually had fun!! There's the spirit!!
June has been relaxing. Hanging with the families, fishing, cooking, eating, sleeping, cooking, eating ,sleeping. You get the idea.
Tom got married end of May and Jed Greenberg got married just last weekend!! So it's also been a time for weddings, hometown friends and community.
No we are not out to pasture we are gearing up for the months ahead. It's festival season bigtime through all of July and August from Ontario down to Virginia and back again. Then in September we hit the road playing clubs, theaters, and radio shows in support of SILVERLINED!! Keep an eye on the schedule as we plan to tour pretty darn far and wide.
We look forward to seeing you all out on the road either at some of the festivals or the indoor venues or better still, both.! We certainly could not, would not, do it without y'all. And that's the truth. We love you!!
