Hopie's Nail File

These are my "Queen to Be" nails... They just remind me of late 80s-early 90s over-the-top-ness, a la Boomerang's exaggerated high fashion model, Strange, or Tutti when she was on Living Single.

Here they are holding up my flyer to my show next Thursday:

These were $19 for paint job + manicure. Hand-painted, all natural nail. They last for a while, too.

So, there's a new CRATE in town named Chasen, and he's a 24-Karat Milkcrate.

To answer a few questions:
I get my nails did at Nail Fantasy on Mission x Persia. These are hand-painted. The nails are au naturale – no acrylic, no gel, no tips. Design alone sans manicure = $15. Holla!

Slumdog Millionaire.

Just watched Slumdog Millionaire with a couple of the girlies, and it was the bomb!

Highly recommend this flick. All my closest friends know I have an affinity for foreign flicks, especially when they are shot in or around slums, shanty towns, favelas, ghettos, casbahs, etc. This one was no exception.

If you haven't taken your cupcake to a flick in a minute, this is the one. There's a touching love story that even melts my icy heart... Valentine's Day is coming up, and those of you who are less-than-romantic - myself included! - should take this hint and see Slumdog, for real.
