Current mood:  disappointed
Unfortunately due to Boot50's rock god drummer still feeling the effects of a recent car butting (see previous news), Boot50 had to pull out of the recent live recording due to go out on sky early October. Although on the mend Gin Rocco is still not 100% fit and therefore Boot50 are unlikely to make any live appearances until the middle of October, however that said, a nice roster of gigs and a reschedule for the live gig in Southend are soon to be released.

Current mood:  worried
Estranged Boot50 drummer, Jon Robinson (AKA Gin Rocco), was recently involved in a road accident leaving him suffering concussion and a fractured cheek bone.  The accident happened in Witham, Essex during the evening of 23rd Aug. He is now on the mend and looking forward to gigging again - the car has had a new bumper and a jolly good wash!

When asked about the accident, Jon was reported to be relieved that he saved any damage to his bike by absorbing most of the impact with his head!

Be road safe kids!!!!

Current mood:  productive
Boot50 are set to be heading back into the studio during October to record a number of new tracks.  These will probably include "The End", "So What", "Thank You", "1000 Times" and "Tokyo" . . . . .

The dates are yet to be finalised but you can expect clips to be available on the website. Boot50 will also continue discussions with promoters and labels in what seems to be a growing interest area.

Current mood:  excited
After a recent performance unbeknown to Boot50, in front of the producers from SKY's TMF and Musicians Channel, the Boys have been invited to be play a live 20minute set at Southend's Chinnery's Venue (which recently played host to bands such as the Bluetones and the Ordinary Boys). The recorded gig will be followed by an interview and screened on SKY within the following 10 days.
