Lately i have been getting more exposure as a DJ, something i have been longing for a while now, this coming friday i will be at a private party here in Tegucigalpa, and next thursday i will be mixing at Artesanos Bar as we always do, then the coming week after that i'm getting a gig in another bar, more like a lounge, so i get to experiment different types of crowds and environments.

I'm not looking to be famous but to have a good reputation as a DJ, expose people to quality electronic music and help build up a good scene here.

Last night was our first gig together with my fellow dj Shaman, we alternated 1 hour each, i started with some electro and progressive house, then he went up with progressive and psytrance, then i kicked in with Breaks, i have been wanting to mix breaks for a long time, and in my last gig alone (private party)  i did like an hour of it, i like breaks so much, it just has a such an energy to it, the thing is that until now i didnt really had a lot of breaks as to mix 2 straight hours.

I love house, and i have tons and tons of good house music (minimal, tech, prog, electro....etc) but from now on i will be mixing as much breaks as I can. I wish i could have recorded my set last night, maybe next week i can.

We will be playing every week at ARTESANOS, a local club that has different events every week, sometimes there are plays, reggae nights, and at least one day of the weekend there are djs, we picked thursday to mix because we want and undergorund feel, friday or saturday are to much of a showcase, we'll se waht happens next week....

Im going to try to use this space since i have it, what im mostly interested is in dj'ing, here in my country Honduras there are like 8 good djs and that is it, people are not used to listening good electronic music, what you hear around is the most commercial techno, trance and some house, i would like to be able to host a local portal about electronic music, maybe an internet radio, who knows these are just projects in my head, i'll begin by posting some of my last mixes.
