Swedish doom metal merchants CANDLEMASS are preparing to embark on what is sure to be one of the biggest events in metal in 2008... their first U.S. tour in 17 years! This is will also mark the bands first time performing in the States with vocalist and Texas native Robert Lowe, also of SOLITUDE AETURNUS.

Commented CANDLEMASS bassist and founding member Leif Edling: "Last time we were over was in 1991 and that's way too long! We wanna make this tour a very special event for all our fans in the States and all new American fans of doom and metal too.
