Their review of "Mirror" is in German but below I posted the English version.  It's interesting and maybe loses something in translation but it's still cool! They found me and asked permission first. The album represented here by the singer and instrumentalist Dena is rock pop with a decidedly underground flair. Vocally—and probably accidentally—she parallels Jewel, especially Jewel's album 0304. However Dena is a little rougher, in songs like "Watching". In "Empty Place" she integrates her skirt pop style with folk music al la Chantal Kreviazuk, and a nice soothing synthesis results. Perhaps one could say "Mirror" sounds somewhat like a female version of Counting Crows. In any case, the performance includes 15 songs for a time duration of a little over 70 minutes, and all the songs range from average to above average in quality, which is a good deal considering the cost of the CD. I give her 3.5 for an absolutely wonderful achievement, even though, for my tastes I would have liked a few rough corners and edges. On the other hand I would not give Jewel more than 4 points.

Happy New Year and.....Thanks!
Before too much time passes by, I wanted to take a moment and wish everyone a Happy New Year and also thank everyone who listened to and downloaded my sweet version of Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas! The response was great and the song hit nearly 5,000 plays in just a little over a month!! I am so glad you enjoyed it and it made me happy to be able to make it my Christmas gift to you. If you are among the few that missed hearing it....I'm sorry but I guess you will just have to wait until next year! hahaha I appreciate the continued support as always.
