INTERVIEW with JC Internet Radio! Isaac: Elaborate on who you are and your upbringing B.Worldstar: Yeah, itz ya boy B.Worldstar, Rapper/Singer, Songwriter/Poet, Actor/Model, Author/Publisher. I’m originally from Nigeria, but I’m US Citizen. Catch me at: http://www.myspace.com/bworldstar all day everyday and fans can call me at: 615-823-5012, ask question (s), and shout out to your boy and anything else. Isaac: Was there any one musician that spoke to your heart so profoundly, you were inspired to do your own thing? B.Worldstar: Most definitely, there is one rapper that actually inspires me most and I don’t want to reveal the name until my next CD/Album. Isaac: Which singer/group would you say you would most like to do a duet with? B.Worldstar: That would be Ciara, Jordan Spark, Usher, Akon, T-Pain, Alicia Keys, Chris Brown, Rihana, Neo, Omarion, Mario, Sean Kingston; and for the group it would be Jagged Edge and others. Isaac: What singer/songwriter do you most connect with? B.Worldstar: Almost everybody, no exception. Usher is the main! Isaac: Out of your entire song collection that you've written thus far, which song(s) would you say is/are the most personal/meaningful to you? B.Worldstar: That’s a tough one. I’ll say “My Motha”, “My Valentine”, “Luv Sees No Color”, “Tennessee”, “One Luv”, “Don’t 4get”, and “Black Nation” Isaac: Which singers/groups do you enjoy/like from some of today’s music genres? B.Worldstar: To be honest with you, I like everyone. Isaac: What charities are you involved with or support? B.Worldstar: I’m not that rich yet, but I do little for kids with Word Vision and some police veterans. Isaac: Have you (or would you ever consider) writing a song about any of today's particular world issues/problems? If so, what world issue would speak to you the most to write about? B.Worldstar: Yes I have. I wrote “Luv Sees No Color” and “One Luv” against racism, and “Don’t 4get” message to all political leaders around the word, especially US Government. Isaac: Why should people listen to your music? B.Worldstar: First of all, I deserve to be heard and people deserve new and meaningful music. I brought different styles, stories and accent to Hip-Hop industry and they need to hear me. Isaac: Your music is relaxing and chill. What inspired you to toss out these awesome lyrics and cords? B.Worldstar: My family – My Mom, my brothers, and my girl. Isaac: How far into the creation of a song do you share any of it with anyone? Who would you play it for? Would it be a chorus, a verse and chorus, or a complete song? B.Worldstar: No, I don’t share it until I record it. Isaac: How much do you let others "mess around with" one of your new songs? B.Worldstar: To any length as long as no one tries to duplicate my words/lyrics. Isaac: Do you have to be a tortured soul to be a singer-songwriter? B.Worldstar: I rap, sing and write. I’m disciplined and very decent as a singer-songwriter. Isaac: Are your songs strictly autobiographical or are they embroidered autobiography? B.Worldstar: One song revealed when I was born, others are about something else. My song(s) is/are neither strictly nor embroidered autobiography. I got messages to world and I have to get ‘em out there. Isaac: How long does it take you to process your emotions and turn them into songs? B.Worldstar: It doesn’t take me long at all. As I long as I find a subject to write about I finish a song within minutes. I actually wrote 7 (seven) songs in just one day. Isaac: The best piece of advice you actually followed? B.Worldstar: Never copy, never try to be somebody else, and to top it all, be as original as you can. Isaac: Give Shutouts to your family and friends. 1. Tell us about yourself, what inspired you to get into music?
Hi yall I go by the name of “B.Worldstar” and you can read more about me in my blog at http://wwww.myspace.com/bworldstar. I just start my music career last year February, 2008. Actually my first debut novel - “Love Sees No Color” written and published by me with the pen name “Bolaji Worldstar77” – inspired me most to get started in music industry. I got a lot to say to the whole world. It’s be a blessing ‘cause my career is moving so fast. I got fans all over the world, no kidding and I got 14 million plus hits on MySpace now without even get single on the radio. Much love to my fans worldwide. 2. Describe your style to the readers
My style of music is pretty much African-American Style - I grew up in Africa and unlike Akon who also raised in Africa but being here since the age of 7. I came back to USA when I was 25. You can see I was raised and breed in Africa – Nigeria. I brought different style, flows and messages with sweet different accent to hip-hop music. My style based in the category of Hip-Hop/Rap/R&B. My style is never before seen and my messages are never before told so get the CD “Luv Sees No Color” to know what I am talking about. You can get the songs from iTunes; Amazon on you can get the physical CD on my web store http://www.lulu.com/bworldstar 3. Who were some of your inspirations? I love everybody in the game, but my big inspiration and who I considered to be my mentor is the one and only Tupac (2pac) Amar Shakur (may his soul rest in peace) 4. How has the road to making music been for you? What have you learned?
Not that easy as people think but I thank God every day I’m still breathing and that’s the biggest gift. There have been some rejections and I don’t take it personal. One thing I learned in the game is keep trying and promoting yourself both online and in the real world. 5. Feedback and support, how has it been? Feedbacks and support from fans are more than gifts to me is all blessing from God Almighty himself. Fans come to my MySpace page from different part of the world http://www.myspace.com/bworldstar me they love my style and my flows. Chinese, Japanese are dying to see me in their countries now asking me when I’m going to be there. I got DJs from Germany, - DJ T-Stan, Australia, UK, Greece and DJ Puma – USA, DJ Dee Money from Nigeria (Africa) and many more.telling 6. What do you think about the world of indie music right now and where do you see yourself in five years?
Indie Music now is doing it big and I am so positive that with the help of iTunes and online technologies things are huge for indie artists as well. I see myself on Top already in this next one year much more of five years, but to answer the question I’ll be the biggest MC ever blessed Mic in the music industry. Is all about making it happen and breaking the record. In the history of music regardless of genre no one ever record like 5 to 6 songs in one day, but I break the world record by recording 11 songs in just one day. No body and I mean nobody ever does that. I’m not trying to front, just making it known to world. 7. If you could ask for any assistance in any area of your career, what would it be? You never know who's reading nowadays that can help...
Well, I need help from investors. I have a lot of projects to bring to the world and I need investors to come in and invest in my projects. My debut CD – “Luv Sees No Color” I need videos to promote the Album, My Debut novel “Love Sees No Color” also need to be marketed, and my debut movie is in development as well. So I need investors to come in. 8. What are some lessons learned you've picked up that you can pass along to aspiring artists?
My word to all upcoming artists is focusing on online promo especially on MySpace to win fans across the globe to visit your page and be yours. If you make it happened on MySpace there is more chance of getting radio plays and make it to TV networks. Don’t give up no matter what, keep trying and learn how to handle rejection don’t take it personal and to top it all be positive and believe in yourself.
9. What's next on the agenda for you?
Like I said earlier I’m promoting my debut Novel and CD “Love Sees No Color” and “Luv Sees No Color” respectively, available worldwide or by visiting my website http://www.lulu.com/worldstar My debut Novel is in development. I have more novels on the way and movies as well. MY next CD will be titled “My Fans” and you can get my ringtone with all major carriers such as T-Mobile, AT&T, Cricket, Verizon, Sprint, Alltel, Flycell, MTV Mobile, PlayPhone, Send Me and so on, or you can just visit http://www.myxer.com/BWORLDSTAR. 1. You seem so very passionate about your music, how and when did you get started?
B.WORLDSTAR: Well I have always wanted to speak to the whole wide world about Unity and Humanity. I was thinking to do that through books and movies. I never planned to do music until 2008 when my mind was thinking it, and the major reason I went to studio was because I had a dream literally and I saw a rapper than encouraged me to do music. That’s how I get started, and officially I started recording in October, 2008. 2. What has been your most successful song to date?
B.WORLDSTAR: “Tennessee” is gaining ground and being nominated for “Song of the year”, “Wish Me Luck”, “My Motha”, “Don’t 4Get”

5. You have been very open in your music about your personal relationships, so we have to ask the question! Are you still in that relationship?
B.WORLDSTAR: Lol! When I am writing a song I depict pictures and make it convincing. Not all songs I wrote are truly my personal life experience. I just know there will be some people out there that are going through the situations. “My Luv Life” is truly my personal relationship, but other songs are not truly my personal stuffs. 6. One Luv was a song that touched our hearts because so many people can relate to your situation of interracial relationships. How hard was that for you to make that song? B.WORLDSTAR:”One Luv” is one of my favorite songs from my album “Luv Sees No Color” and the song is based on my character’s situation with my girlfriend from my novel “Love Sees No Color” (http://www.lulu.com/bworldstar) The song is not hard to write at all. Actually writing song is not hard for me. It takes me minutes or hour (s) to write a song, depends on my mood. ................................................................................ B.WORLDSTAR: Good thing!
10. Who has been an influence in your life?
