Hey all,

VIE has a manager!!!  His name is Joe Scrocca, Jr. and we just signed with his company, Scrocca Entertainment Group.  We have a photo shoot scheduled in the next week or so and then he will go to town, shopping us to labels, getting airplay, booking us for festivals and tours and getting our songs licensed in TV, film etc.  We are VERY excited!!!  We will keep you updated as to how things progress.

On Saturday, December 8th at 10:30 pm, VIE will be having a CD Release at The Viper Room (8852 Sunset Blvd., West Hollywood, CA  90069)!

This is our first show in some time, and it will be a special one!

Our CD, BLACK MARKET PROPHECY, is finished and printed, and will be for sale at the show.

We will also have a very special guest joining us on stage. Her name is Charlene Huang, and she will be playing violin on "Goodbye."

We will be performing some new material and some special versions of some older material.

Hey all,

A lot has been going on with VIE.

We've spent the last couple of months focusing on finishing up our album, and it will be done and ready to release in the next few weeks.  Once the album is done, we will be selling it online and shopping it to managers, labels, publishers, promoters, you name it!!  We are booking a ton of new shows.  We won our first Emergenza competition and are performing the second one in March.  Dino is back on bass...and we are writing lots of new songs.

This is an exciting time for VIE, and we are happy you are all coming along for the ride!!

hello people.

This is Mike, the bass player of VIE. This is my WORLD DEBUT of me on this blog thing. Lets see how this goes.

The whole band is working hard as ever to do the same thing.... get our name out there, get more of you guys and gals to listen and connect with what were doing, get Mike some good 'ol fashion lovin'.... all while trying to NOT let life kick us in the balls and/or general groin area.

So this is what's new.....

All tracks are done on the album, we are in the process of getting it mixed and mastered and that should be done relatively soon. We'll post some new stuff on our MySpace page as well as VIEMUSIC.COM so you can hear what we are doing.

We did some other out of town shows, including Las Vegas! That was my first time being there as an adult. The only other Vegas memory i have is sitting in the hotel room by myself for days at a time while my dad went out and squandered all my families money. This time, going there with the band, was a lot cooler. Thanks to all the people who went to those shows, and thanks to the guys in "Rickets", who were all very cool guys and very cool band to play with. Vegas is a pretty cool place.

Since we got back, we've been working hard on writing new material, and getting even more prepared for more shows. This is looking like it's going to be a busy summer for us.

We got a show at the Knitting Factory coming up. That show is supposed it be a lot of fun with a shit load of people. Buy tix before it sells out! We will all be chillin and I'll be drinking heavily, so please come talk to us and say hi or whatever. I'm a happy/friendly drunk, so you should have nothing to fear.

After that, it's "Back in the Van Everybody", as we venture on to Bakersfield! Famous for it's..... uh, well, it's a cool town anyway. I would love to tell you what time we are playing, but scheduling and/or thoughtful planning is AGAINST THE LAW over there. Don't believe me? Look it up on Google.

Later this month, we are playing the Whiskey in Hollywood. We played there last April, and the show was a big success. We opened for Kitty last time. I like to believe that VIE packed the place with over 500 die hard VIE fans who, unfortunately, had their VIE t-shirts in the laundry, so they had to settle for wearing the old Kitty t-shirts. Good for them that they didn't have to feel silly because Kitty ended up playing there too.

This next Whiskey show is going to be awesome. Make sure you have your VIE t-shirts clean and ready to go the DAY OF THE SHOW. C'mon people, lets get organized.

Well, i think I've said enough. We'll see if i get in trouble from the band for posting this blog. Normally this is done by Noa, our extremely talented and HOT singer, or Jose, a band member who is learning guitar. Usually i get yelled at for talking in practice, and don't even ask what happens when i wear the wrong shoes to a show, so this blog might be the last straw........

This might be the last time you hear from me, i love my family and i love all of you. Pray for my safety.

We are doing great! Our new bass player Mike is doing a hell of a job learning the songs...and gigs are coming up...It will be great to be out playing again...Noa is getting ready to lay down the vocal tracks for our first full length cd...Our webcast will be shot in April so all of you can see us live on the web!!  It will be great for all our fans and friends who live all over the U.S. and the world to get a taste of a live VIE perfomance...I just want to thank all of you My Space friends for the great compliments and support....Please come to a show and say hi to us...We want to meet as many of you as possible....and don't forget to click on the link to our website viemusic.com...many great things will be happening there as well...Mike is an expert on web design and he is already helping us set up some awesome stuff for you all to see...
