Time for another speech:

We'll be doing another headline gig on Thursday 17 Sept at the Windmill in Brixton, for nice guys Shot By Both Sides. More new bits will drip out into the show. Advance tickets - for a tiny £3 - can be bought here.

Thanks, hope to see you there.

We're recording a session for bandstand busking on Sunday (July 5), playing outdoors versions of some new songs on the bandstand at Northampton Square, EC1V. If anyone would like to come, we'll be playing at 1pm, last fm event here. The footage will be put up on BB's website sometime after.

Thanks!

Turns out Matt Smith, who today sprang from the BBC pupa to the imago of Doctor Who, is a fan of the Mules.

When starring in a West End stage production of 'Swimming with Sharks' last year, he used our album 'Save your face' to get himself all hot and bothered before going on stage and using his acting. Congratulations to the man!

Hello.

PRONG ONE - the Mules will be playing at BESTIVAL this weekend, on Sunday night, at the Last Man Standing Saloon, at about 1 in the AM.

PRONG TWO - then, there will be an extravagently enjoyable show at the Borderline on Wednesday September 17th, with Last Man Standing ( the band, not the stage ) and Smoke Fairies. Tickets are a measly £6, and here they are .

PRONG THREE - there's another new churchy demo on the player, called 'Redeemer'. It has NO DRUMS on it. Whoa now.

Thank you for your time
Ed.

Prong 3a is this video, which is me playing 'We're good people' for the Ladies Of The Manor, on a guitar with the twang switch fully engaged.

Hello,

We have another headline show in London on Wednesday 17 September, at the Borderline, which is on Manette Street, just off Charing Cross Road.

Tickets are available here, for a measly £6. Last Man Standing and Smoke Fairies will be playing too, and they're ace.

There's another song up on the player, a remix of 'This is your life' by Lights, which is an alias of Nick Gill, a man also to be found in The Monroe Transfer and Fireworks Night. Yeah.

Love
Ed.

Hello,

I've put up a demo of another new song, 'Sorry, kid'. It's a pretty sad song.

It's another one we did in St Luke's church, Kingston, so similarly jagged-edged to 'Jenny, sell the farm' in sound quality, but it's charming, ok? Yes.

Love

Ed.

Another new demo - this song's called 'Jenny, sell the farm'.

It's a bit rougher than the others, because we recorded it ourselves in St Luke's parish church, Kingston (thanks to Fr Martin Hislop).

It's also got about 15 seconds of rubbish chatter at the beginning because I don't know how to chop that off. Sorry.

In other news, buy our hot tickets!

Thanks,

Ed.

Hello,

Another new demo on the player - this one's called 'Devon chicken farmer'. The man on the left in the song's photo is called Sebastian Snow, and he inspired the song.

Thanks,

Ed.
