O.k. so I am a little proud, but this is something I never would have thought I could do... I just wanted to share with all of you that I completed my first sprint distance (300 m swim, 14 mile bike, 3.1 mile run) triathlon this past weekend in
1 hour 44 minutes and 57 Seconds , and I am still alive. I realize not every one has time for the juicy details, but if you are interested they are on my
beginner triathlete log - here.
My hubby has pictures posted
here.
Thank you to all that have encouraged me in so many ways, you've helped make this possible. I had so much fun and don't know if I will be able to stop the triathlon madness in me.
16 days to go till I compete in the Lonestar Quarter Ironman (.6 mile swim, 28 mile bike, 6.5 mile run, April 1st in Galveston, Texas)! I'll make sure to update you all on how that turns out too.
:-D

P.S. There's still time to donate to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society if you want to ;-) Many of you have already been so generous that I have surpassed my initial goal ($2,600), I am now at
$2,938! Please see the link below to donate.
