I just added few old songs for You to enjoy. My first single ever "Slow Down", bonus track "One Lullaby" (instrumental version) from "2 Hands/ 4 Songs EP" and two pieces from my film music experience.
Regarding "mystyrys yrs" LP, we are searcing for a chance to deliver this all to You a.s.a.p. It's crisis, come on.. nothing works out the way we've planned..

I am proud to announce that very soon (approx.10 days) the first single form my second LP will be released (it is also the hottest single of mine since I don't remember how long ago)..
Single is called "A Dance Away" and it's duet with a very, very talented and lovely guy from UK, who has JUST released his debut LP "Dark Young Hearts"... If You follow the updates in here You must have noticed him, but if not - an answer will come after just a little while..

It's already two months since the first day of "Mystyrys Yrs" LP recording session. Therefore I thought You might be interested in what we've done so far:

1) we have recorded 10 songs (8 more are still waiting for their turn)
2) two guest musicians are working on their appearance in my album just now, we have already recorded one "guest star" track. One guest is still waiting for her chance to record her part
3) songs that will be heard in album for 99% - The List, All The Wonders, Old Friends, Sometimes You Have to Win Yourself Alone, Hard Case (Heart Break), Silly Tunes, Prodigy

I can't give You even an approximate date of release.
I will do my best, do Yours, too.

After two years
pause, singer/ songwriter Goran Gora together with his session musicians has
started recording session of his second LP, titled „Mystyrys Yrs”. ....

First phase of
recording session ended a week ago and was held in old country house somewhere
in the woods. Since then Goran and his band are working in several studios
located in Riga. ....

Some great
musicians from Latvia and Europe have promissed to participate in recording the
„Mystyrys Yrs”, too. ....

More information

Dear .....,

Thank You all for supporting me this year as it has been a crazy crazy one..
Beside wishing You all the very best greetings I'd like to give You some hints regarding my 2009 plans.

1) I am up to release my second LP and here is some more information:
Title: (not telling You now)
Song titles include (order chosen by coincidence): The List, Biblegun, Rock, Ocean, Silly Tunes, Cigarettes And Wine, Pills and some more I can't recall right now..
As I am finally sure about the tracklist, hopefully recording session will start on January 19.
Recording place: A country house in far North of Latvia where the closest human beings are 7km away. 200m from the house is a graveyard and a church.. What a combination, ay?

2) I am negotiating right now with some talented film makers to shoot at least two videos for my forthcoming singles. Who knows - maybe there will be even more videos.. conversations are very productive and we all have lots of fun brainstorming about the scripts and technical features...

3) I will do my best to have the most active year in Goran Gora's history - I'm talking about live performances in Latvia and abroad, so - be patient and I hope to see You in concerts really soon!

P.S. Of course, all the things said above are a subject to change during process, but those surely are things I'm ready to speak about this moment.  
 

The end of this sick year is very soon. I had loads of weird experience that has changed my music and my way of thinking.. I guess You'll hear it very soon, as I am ready (finally) to start the work on my second LP.

Just wanted to tell You, 19.12.2008 will be the last performance I give this year together with my stage musicians and it is surely the last gig I use classical set of instruments (guitars, bass and drums). Next year You'll see what I meant with that. But it will include lots of electronic stuff, some acoustic instruments (trumpets, horns etc.) and it seems to me there will be much more of naughty sampling...
