Since I've been so swamped this summer, I thought I'd check in and
tell everyone about some upcoming changes I'm planning on making. It's
not all laid out yet, but I've been slowly working to make my workflow
smoother and more streamlined.
If you have suggestions, comments, questions. PLEASE EMAIL.
I love hearing from you, my loyal readers and author friends. If you
don't hear from me in two weeks, try again. It might have been eaten by
the spam filter.
The Author Blog
I'm going to revamp the blog format and will probably change up the look. I am changing the way I handle guest bloggers.
It's become way too much work for me to keep up on and I don't have
time to track people down. So, if you have any old files on guest
blogging, the process is being changed. Guests will still be welcomed,
but I'm no longer using the old templates for being a guest blogger
handed out in the past. As of RIGHT NOW, I'm no longer taking those file directions/templates/interview forms. Everyone
I've made arrangements with in the past should have had their forms to
me by this point anyway, so it really shouldn't affect anyone.
The website
I've made small changes to the website and will continue to do so. You can check it out here. Comments and suggestions on how to make it easier for you, the readers, are ALWAYS WELCOME!!
Backlist Books
I've gotten a ton of emails about coming out of contract, backlist
books no longer being available for sale. For those of you who haven't
see it, I do have a place where you can buy exclusive, backlist titles
that shouldn't be for sale anywhere else. If there is a book you're
looking for that isn't there, I am probably working on it. Final end of
contract paperwork and reformatting take a little time, so please bear
with me. I'm trying. :D Also, it's important to note that some of the
backlist titles might be in the process of recontracting. I will do my
best to keep everyone up to date on my blog, newsletter and website.
Photography
Some of you who follow me a little more closely, or who know me, know
that I've been a photographer longer than a published author. I love
writing and I love my art. I plan on showcasing my photography a little
more in the future. And, if all goes well, it will be for sale on my
site for my clients to shop and everyone else to browse and look. But,
loyal readers, do not panic. I am not quitting my writing career. ;)
