An update to those who've been wondering where we have disappeared to...

Voyager One is on hiatus at the moment. We are still releasing a new EP soon in some form (on itunes & limited cd print most likely), but we are not playing shows for awhile.
Some members of V1 are busy with other projects and focusing time in those places. We all still get along and we love what we do and are thankful to all our followers for showing support all these years. We will send out a broadcast email & bulletin once the new EP is available.

cheers, V1

Voyager One’s highly anticipated album, "Afterhours in the Afterlife" out today!

Voyager One’s Afterhours in the Afterlife landed in record stores nationwide today. Voyager One has pioneered the latest wave of psychedelic electro-pop by utilizing a stunning array of post-guitar rock hooks. Afterhours expands the sonic palate of their space rock foundation, while utilizing time-tested songwriting standbys such as melody and soul. Voyager One returns with Afterhours in the Afterlife and rejoins Loveless Records, who has been with them from the very start.

Michael Pearlstein of The Big Takeover says "The overall sound is bigger, incorporating more electronic trickery against the hypnotic, droning guitars of Jeramy Koepping and Peter Marchese. The whole album feels like another grand slam from these Seattle ’aural-nauts’."

Previously showcasing at both CMJ and SXSW, the band has also toured with Black Rebel Motorcycle Club on their 2006 "Howl Tour" and have played with other notable bands such as The Stills, Black Angels, and Sparklehorse.

"Projectorhead," the band’s visual artist, provides superior visuals effects during their live shows, which adds to the band’s psychedelic sounds. Projectorhead’s latest visual creations for the band’s two singles, Ocean Grey and The Future is Obsolete, can be viewed below, with a DVD to follow in the near future.

Ocean Grey – Voyager One

The Future is Obsolete – Voyager One
