The Sunny South EastWe are just back from a lovely weekend spent in the sunny South East of Ireland!
Sunday saw us play 2 shows! The afternoon was spent at the
Bull Ring in Wexford Town. Not a bull in sight but plenty of cool things going on at the
Wexford Arts Day. A melee of music, puppet shows, good food and great craic. It was a pleasure to play for all those who came out to support the day... long may it continue!
After catching up with a few familiar faces we headed across the water on the Ballyhack Ferry bound for county Waterford and the seaside town of Tramore to play support for the very talented
Mick Flannery!
A fantastic night was had by all and the Tramore punters were so warm and welcoming to us. Thanks to all those who took time to come and say hello and buy CDs! We managed to give "You Can't Have it All" it's first live outing since recording it for the album, went suprisingly well! always good to give a song it's maiden voyage and get a good response!
Lady Ga Ga Scandal! We also bumped into two young ladies aged 9 and 6 having the time of their lives holidaying in Tramore and staying up well past their bedtimes and for that matter ours!
After getting on to the topic of their favourite bands we asked if they liked a certain Lady Ga Ga. We were shocked to be met by the response that "Lady Ga Ga is a boy".... "it said so on the news!" Well I never!
Band On The RunReeling form the
Lady Ga Ga revelations we headed back to Wexford to start band rehersals!! Yep the
Band is on the run... and early sounds and signs are great!! News on full band shows will follow soon!
So must get back to grindstone! Album artwork nearly there and we will be going to Press very soon!
We also have a new gig just confirmed for this Friday at the
INEC acoustic cub in Killarney supporting
Luka Bloom!Keep requesting
"Red Light" on RTE Radio 1 as it's enjoying another week on the playlist.
