I manage this great all girl band in Toronto you might have heard of called Magneta Lane.

Hey guys !

Two amazing bands you need to check out, Magneta Lane (twitter @kissingiseasy) and Crush Luther (twitter @crushluther) are proud to be a part of this years Busking for Change festival on September 29th 2009. We want to let you know about this event and hopefully can get some support for this great cause. Please join us in raising awareness and money for War Child Canada, which provides humanitarian assistance to war-affected children around the world.  This is a sick cause !
 
Our goal is to raise $500 in online donations. Both bands will also be playing live on the streets of Toronto in selected locations on September 29th to help raise money, set times and locations to be announced soon.

John Feldmann has started his own record label called “Robot Dragon” and needs your creativity to help him create a logo. You guys have free reign to do whatever you want. Go nuts. The only thing we ask is that if you are chosen the winner, your entry must be submitted in vector form (you can google that if you’re not sure what it means, but basically, it can be shrunk to the size of a pin head or blown up to the size of a sky scrapper and not look schlapockey). Obviously you can't submit ai or eps files to FOE, so you can submit a jpeg. If chosen though, we'll ask for you to send us the ai/eps file. Good luck! Can’t wait to see what you guys come up with!
