We are very excited to welcome Stefanie to the band. She will be singing and providing twangy rhythms on guitar.

Special thanks and hugs to Alicia for having fun with us for the past 2 years. We wish her well on her latest endeavor.

We're working on some new songs and will be debuting a few at a show soon. Cheers!

We're getting close to finishing our debut CD. There will be 10 tracks on the yet to be named album. Those who have been to our live shows will recognize these chosen 10.

While we finish recording we'll leave some live tracks on MySpace. These were recorded from a Sanyo camcorder, so they're somewhat crude. But it's Rock 'N' Roll dudes!

Our next show will be Friday March 28th at the Retox Lounge in San Francisco. This is a new up and coming club in the Dog Patch neighborhood. Tasty drinks upstairs, cool live shows downstairs.

There's our quick update. New recordings will be posted soon, as well as the final track listing. Peace out.

The Rockit Room is one of our favorite live music venues. Great sound, very nice place, and just a good vibe all around. Here are some pics from our last show at the Rockit Room.

Thanks to Richard A. Brown for taking all these amazing shots.

Last weekend we finished recording 4 songs for our upcoming album. We're still working on tweeking things and vocal sessions are going to follow. This weekend ... back into the studio to track 3 - 4 more songs. Songs from our EP/Sampler (the first 3 songs on our Myspace page) will be re-recorded.

We've made them available for download since they won't be around for very much longer. So grab a copy for your iPods! Also brought back an old demo called "Rise Above". It's different from our other stuff, really mellow, but we like it. Let us know what you think.

An update to this earlier post - Headshot is actually going to be on "Stay in the Box volume 3". It will be the first compilation release of 2008 for Matchbox Recordings. So get ready!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

9/11/2007:

Listen out for bands from the U.K, U.S.A, Mexico and all over Europe."

The release date has not been determined but it is slated for sometime later this year, or early next year. In the meantime you can purchase "Stay in the Box volume 1", released this July, from CD Baby.

... and stay tuned for us.

Current mood:  sick

So I've been sick since our show at Bay Street on Friday. How am I supposed to go to any BBQ's now? BTW - thank you to everyone who came out. It was a perfect night, not too cold, only a slight breeze. I've had some time to edit out some live material from that show. Just posted Be Alive on our page. Go listen ...

A big thank you to Dennis and Tarabud of Sentinel for helping with our sound and shooting video of us. If you haven't heard them go check them out. They're great.

We're taking September off from playing live. Going to hit the studio to record. Hopefully we'll have a few more songs by October when we start playing again. See you all then. I've gotta swallow an alka seltzer now.

I found this review about us on a German indie music blog. Don't know how these people find us, but it's great to know our sounds are enjoyed in other countries. If you can read German here is the original blog page - Coast is Clear - Der Indie Pop Blog.

Our friend Lisa translated this for us. Here is the English version:

Whoever calls himself Everything Gone Green has to be aware that he will be reminding others of New Order. This does not seem to bother the quartet from San Francisco, because their music is referring to the post punk music of the 80's with some Shoegaze elements, which is not too seldom nowadays.

Shimmering guitars, succinct bass lines and the strong voice of singer Alicia ensure for the fact that it becomes however not boring; songs like "Blow Away" are a lot of fun and make you wish for more. Too bad EGG has only a 4 track EP so far, which they distribute themselves. But songs for an album are already in the works.

After playing live every month for the past year, we will be taking September off. Alicia and Manny are taking vacations while Sean and I relax here at home. I'm going to take this opportunity to lay down tracks for a few new recordings. These will be familiar tunes if you've been to one of our shows. I'm also going to work on completing brand new songs. They're coming, they're coming ...
