I've never had much interaction with Psy.  I've talked with employees.  Know some with direct business dealings.

I've had the oppurtunity to meet literally hundreds of new people thanks to this site.  I've seen just as many new connections made as a result.

I've had the oppurtunity to speak 1 on 1 with some if  The people that shaped my music appreciation in the last ten years.  I've been offered interviews and concerts that 15 year old me is really proud of.

I've gotten to play at being a "radio Dj thanks to PaJuggalos,  Toxic, Skn,  and whoever else let me on their shoutcast stream.  And people listened.  Then we ran our own with WPAJ Radio.  Expanding to WPAJ Interview,  Wrestling Mayhem Show,  and more projects on my plate,  including freelance work I now enjoy payment from.

I've had the opportunity to take a part in the local music scene, and share the stage with some of the most talented people in the area.

This site was the cornerstone if a City Paper cover story,  and quoted in Blender magazine.

Some poor girl has a tattoo if Nate Wright's artwork of a young kid who comes to shows and spouted Twiztid lyrics like a champ at that one show.

Tell me who else can make these claims.  For everyone that has worked with and for WesternPAJuggalos.com, no one can take away what was done.  Together.

But this site has a glass ceiling.  As long as there is "Juggalo" in the title,  we are property of Psychopathic Records,  but we are capable of so, so much more.

From that one day those Juggalos from AiP sat around a lobby table and said "hey,  let's do a site",  this has enveloped my life since 2001.

It's time to move on and move up.

I don't know what's next.  I'd hoped to see WPAJ continue on under new mangement,  and I've attempted to open the site up to new writers in an effort to find a successor to the throne.  But no one has proven fit enough.  The members that were all in have faded into their lives, careers, kids, etc.  Nothing I can blame anyone for moving on for.  But no matter who I brought on and had given an oppurtunity to, to write and develop WPAJ and keep it alive and do some new stuff, everyone faded away.  No one seemed as dedicated as that earliest crew.  Gimpy2Dope has started to hold it down with the new Pittsburgh Juggalos, and I'm excited to see where he goes with it.  But aside from that, it's been a crutch that I've tried to get this site back up to it's former glory.  But I don't have the energy anymore, and I want to do more.

Thank you all
Dingo:  one if the originals.  You fell off our radar too soon
Snackz:  You were a crazy dude I saw bumble through speech class to become a confident uy.
Twztedchik and Big Daddy Shit: Still great friends.  Both of you hold a spot in our hearts as good friends.  I love that you've let us in your world to hang out with your crazy friends and see your son grow.
JuggaloJohn:  Your visual creativity drove the early days of the site and gave us our face.  One of the first Juggalos I met at AIP.  It's all your fault I got into this whole thing.
Nate Da Mac:  The other creative force that was able to take our everyday lives and put them in comic form.  I still show off your work on our CRAP album cover to this day.
Erie Ninja:  You represented Erie the best.  I loved knowing something was going on up there, and I know it had to be hard in such a smaller community, but you made it happen.
Dr. Espling: The guy that pushed me to make the site greater and not be afraid to approach these "high and mighty" artists.  Also helped me delve into the music arena I never imagined getting involved with.  CRAP is your fault.
Chachi:  My best friend since High School.  He's the reason we decided to go from AIP Juggalos to Western PA Juggalos, so we could represent all of the Juggalos from our neck of the woods in Mercer County, as well as Erie.
Missfit: For putting up with me in this little adventure.

All of the artists that showed us love.  All the Juggalos that showed up to our Mini-Gatherings.  All of you.  Thank you.

Ironically, on the last day of WPAJ's official existance, I found something really cool.  A Faygo stained shirt hanging in the closet of my office.  This was from the Gathering of the Juggalos 2005.  "We Fucked Chachi's Mom" was emblazened on the front, and it was signed by all of our friends we ran into.

When I was discovering Insane Clown Posse in 1999, I was amazed at what I found on the web.  In a day and age when not everybody had their own Wikipedia page about them, finding information on the group, and the whole Juggalo culture was not a big task.  It’s easy to see that this was one of the earliest groups to build on a grassroots following that was supported by the internet.  Faygoluvers.com, RealJuggalos.comMilenko500.com, TheSixth.com, and who could ever forget, Tha Poll Page. InsaneClownPosse.com, itself, was a grand source of information with interviews and videos, even back then (as much as they sucked to download the Shaggy Show on a 56k modem).
And the Juggalos were big on picking up on the new technology…for a while.  I’ve written for that the Juggalo Community has seemed to be slow on the uptake when it came to 2.0.  8 years ago, there were so many Juggalo sites.  We were all figuting out HTML, Flash, what we could do with this internet thing, how we could do affordably.  We all were in competition with eachother, in the end.  Today, it feels like so many Juggalo sites have dropped off, including half of the ones I’ve mentioned, and almostany of my cohorts in the PA web site game (PittsburghJuggalos.net/.com, SVJuggalos.com, GZ Ninjaz, and PAJuggalos.com, to name a few).  It’s really down to the point that that you hit up JuggaloNews.com, Faygoluvers.net, and you don’t really need much else.
Psychopathic, itself, seems to be behind.  I’ve previously chided the World Wrestling Entertainment on their website issues, but that has a corporation behind it.  This label came from the ground up harnessing this technology.  They have pushed the envelope in house for video, ok, but they’re most relevant new push was WFuckoff Radio.  When the world has moved on to Podcasting, Psychopathic Records has pushed the streaming radio aspect.  Instead of being able to have the content, ideally promotional content for your own merchandise, widely available to everyone on itunes, Zune, etc, we have to go out of our way to get to your content.  Big reason I haven’t followed it.  Also notice, isn’t it interesting there were so many internet radio station?  I was part of no less than 5 different “networks” (including our own WPAJ Radio), kept an eye on Hatchet Radio, and others, and then this comes along.
Maybe it’s a sign of the scene fading that many won’t take the dedication we all did back in the day to make a website dedicated to our favorite Juggalo ringleaders.  Maybe the new generation of Juggalos haven’t stepped up because we were all here as long as they remember (WPAJ 8 years, Milenko500 10 years, etc)  Either way, I hope it doesn’t continue to die off as we give up on our web hosting bills.

Over the years, Juggalos have been in the news, both positively and negatively.  Getting into this whole thing is both a blessing and a curse.  So why do you have so much trouble with the “outside word”.  There are a few things that maybe Juggalos, as a community, should consider if they’re tired of these situations.  And this is just one Juggalo’s opinion.
Grammer.  I’ve received scores of emails and had plenty of message board and instant message conversations with Juggalos that frequented the site.  How many times have you seen some article or video online about Juggalos, or by Juggalos, that just make you embarrassed to be associated.  You have freedom of speach, kids.  But that doesn’t mean people have to listen, or read, your illegible typing.  Think before you write.
Violence.  I would hope if you’ve been listening to this music for long enough, you realize these are glorifications of violence we all enjoy.  Getting back at that teacher or PTA just proves their point, guys.
Do Something. So many bitch about how you are so misunderstood and not that bad.  Show them.  Have a Juggalo Mini Gathering Charity.  Volunteer at the soup kitchen sporting your hatchet man.
There’s a time and a place (for Faygo Showers). We used to have a few meet ups downtown.  Mostly really successful.  Until someone becomes a dick.  One meetup, we ended up at a small chinese restaurant, having a good time.  Until two cops came in, minding their own business.  One person had the gall to start talking about donuts and bacon.  Another incident was after leaving a restaurant for a meetup, and someone decided to start spraying Faygo on the sidewalk at the end of the day when people were getting off work.  Some lady got a spot of Grape Faygo on her.  Next thing I know, there are no less than 5 motorcycle police cornering our group in Market Square.  For one person’s actions.
Facepaint is like wearing a mask. Hence, if you walk into a convenience store with it on, most will think you might rob the place.  Same problem when you wear it to Kennywood Park.  A place known for gang problems in it’s history.  Sorry guys.  There was a legitimate precedent before we even started showing up there thanks to the Pittsburgh Juggalos.
Who’s doing it right.
When I went to the Gathering of the Juggalos (’01, ‘03-’06).  I was always concerned about the surrounding community since they were usually in smaller communities that sounded like they were scared to death of us.  News stories made our community sound like rapists and satanists.  So I’d ask clerks, and sometimes police officers, how has everything been?  In most cases, and this has been reflected in some post event news articles, the store owners in particular comment on how nice all of the kids are over the weekend.
The people that impress me are the ones that have taken this community, and harnessed it to do good things.  The message boards and Myspace pages have become a major support group for Juggalos that have lost friends and family and seen hardships.  When someone needs help, Juggalos step up to do a charity event, drive, or gather donations for those in need.
In the end.  Think about what your doing.  Step outside yourself and “our world”.
What do you think?  Have good/bad experiences with your Juggalo brethren?  Anything else we should be doing?  Or fuck the world, like 2 Dope said…

It’s always great to get a response from the people out there reading this site.  Whether it was at the Gatherings or at shows, to know the work we do was being heard is probably the greatest sense of accomplishment of anything we’ve done.  Here is some feedback we’ve gotten in the last few weeks.  If you have anything to share, please email them to mikesorg@gmail.com.
From our old friend Charlie:
I want it to be known that I still sport a WPAJ bumper sticker on my Jeep. And damn proud to say so.
From James Mike:

From the Erie Ninja:
AIP Juggalos & MiniGatherings…That is what I remember when I started going to school at Duqesne University. Downtown get-togethers at Kaufmans, at some Chinese place, and the Faygo store on Smithfield. Hangin out with some of the best Juggalos in the country, Sorg, Snackz, Painkyller, Kryptic, NedenSpreden, JuggaloJohn, Chachi, Shit, Gimpy, Bova,  Mars, Sammy, the chick BJ and the dude BJ, a lil bit of Hezh, Dr. Espling (who hooked me up with doing a Kingspade interview!!!!) and Butch, who I would run into at damn near any concert I would be at within a 600 mile radius of Pittsburgh. The list can go on for days. Then Westernpajuggalos opened its doors. Sorg asked me to join and help with setting organizing mini gatherings in Pittsburgh, and in Erie.  I was on board.  Added some Quaker Steak & Lube wing night gatherings, 4th of July Beach Party/House party gatherings, and chillin at the malls.  Met some more crazy juggalos and brought some Erie juggalos into the Pittsburgh community. WPAJ expanded and it was awesome how strong of a friendship was established amongst everyone.
Then all of a sudden a mysterious figure emerged from the family section of blockbuster, trying to destroy the Juggalo Commiunity.  This jealous bastard even went as far are crushing the hopes and dreams of new juggalos coming into the scene. He crushed poor Drunk Mark’s head with a gigantic tree trunk at Rock Jungle before the Hells Pit concert.  He damn near broke my brother’s neck at the Green Book Release Party.  Ever since he slid into the WPAJ scene, he has tormented Chachi…by reminding him of that fateful night…”Chachi’s mom!, Chachi’s MOM!, CHACHI’S MOM!”  You gotta admit; G-Rated was one CRAZY JUGGALO!!!
Now my wife Erin, TittieNedens, had been on the WPAJ ride from the beginning as well.  We now have 2 kids, and my 3 year old lil ninja is bangin out the Chop Chop Slide.  My daughter just turned 2 months and she will not be dating any Juggalos; or guys in general.  Until she’s 21, or I die. Sorg made it to my wedding which was wonderful.  I wish I could have returned the favor and been there to celebrate his.
Another Juggalo that I met around the time, not from through the site directly, but he did his best to support the Pittsburgh Community.  Jason Hubsch, Wes Ide. From close to Boston, Mass. He made it to a kennywood, a twiztid show, and my wedding.  He loves the Pittsburgh Juggalos, and will be President of the US come 2016.
I want thank everyone that was a part of this site. I’m still going to try my hardest to hit up shows in Pittsburgh to see my good friends.  I’m a busy family man with a career now, so it’s gonna be tough.  It began to get difficult to add to the site, but I was always promoting this site at every opportunity. I am glad that I am still friends with mostly everyone and I stay in contact with a lot of you; Sorg especially.  You kept this thing running and did a wonderful job with it. Lookin back, it makes me wish I could take back running up on you butt ass naked at the gathering with my balls next to your shoulder.
Much love Sorg, Juggalos, and WPAJ

From the guy that put the face on WPAJ, JuggaloJohn.
Well I have to say the thought of WPAJ not being here anymore is kind of sad, I always thought that this site would be a road marker that would always be here, to remember we were here… I know that’s a little self serving.
Then I got to thinking, that it’s someone else’s turn, to take up the mantel. For another group of friends with art and web backgrounds you get together and form the next great juggalo Community site.  To get out of that site what me and my friends got out of this one.
This site as it is to me, is not the important thing, it’s all the friends that I got from one way or another because of this group of great people.
Erie Ninja Phil one of that nicest people I think there is on the earth, if Phil don’t like you must be a douche
Twiztidchick missy & Shit Jeff, two good friends, some of the best stories and (drunken) freestyle raps came out of them.
Nate da Mac, the comics, the rants, the crazy, most enjoyable talks in AIP.
Dr. espling, the show, the insight into the business side the music world we loved
Snackz, bitter but always funny, In an oh so dry humor way,
Chachi, If you know chachi, he needs no explanation, He’s Chachi
Sorg & Missfit, from being that main drive of the site, to being in there wedding party there, two better friends no one could hope for, and me (and the above listed people) are really lucky to know them.
Westernpajuggalos.com is part of what I have to thank for all the friends and a network of others, AIP and juggalos alike.
I hope the next great juggalo site we all get to be a part of, has the same effect one that next group of friends.
WPAJ will be missed but never forgotten.

Some words from gimpy2dope of Legally Insane, a group I’ve had the pleasure of knowing and see grow over the years, and the new Pittsburgh Juggalos page on Myspace.    A ninja that’s held it down for years as one of the most consistent ninjas on the net, whether he’s promoting mini gatherings, or opening spots for Insane Clown Posse (December 9 at Club Zoo, Pittsburgh, PA.  Be there and support them!!)
I dont know how to start this off,but wpaj has been a big part of my life expecially becoming a juggalo. I grew up on pittsburghjuggalos.net and wpaj. Its because of these people,i am who i am. Im glad i had the privliage to know everyone i do now. all the mini’s,getting togeather at shows, just hangin out. I gotta say is the best time of my life. I was hoping to take over wpaj to let it live on,but i been running into alot of finacial troubles. I hope to still make this happen some how. I honestly dont wanna see wpaj go down. I know alot of us dont. Sorg expecially has been a big help, and is a great person. It was always a dream of mine to post news on wpaj, and he made that happen. I gotta give alot of thanks, and love to all the old school pgh juggalos that have been on this site sense day 1. Im gonna truly miss this place if it does officially go down.  I know im ramblin a bit,but it was definitly a great run. I hope all goes well for sorg, and everyone else.I hope we can come togeather some day this year,or next and bring it back. We will have to see how everything goes. Again much love to everyone, and thank you sorg for giving me this oppertunity.

Juggalo Day does not belong to the WesternPAJuggalos.com.  Juggalo Day was created by the crew at PittsburghJuggalos.net/.com (ie. Kryptik, Nedenspreden, etc.).  BUT, Juggalo Day belongs to the Juggalos OF Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania.
This has been my personal, unspoken creed about the event held since 2001 at Kennywood Park.
Is this the last time I see a group like this?

Is this the last time I see a group like this?

I went to the second Juggalo Day in 2002 after I started getting into this web stuff, and knew of the PittsburghJuggalos.com web site.  The first year was met with controversy over the Kennywood staff butting heads with the painted up ICP fans in attendance, leading to a forcful eviction of everyone with a Hatchet Man, from what I understood.  I knew of ho other incident until the 2007 incident where about 50 Juggalos in the vicinity of the Faygo Shower were escorted from the park.  (this is the year where I was told our site could be held responsible for “inciting a riot” due to our involvement with the event.)
One year, I believe year 3, Kryptik came to me asking for help promoting the event in one of PJ’s down times.  We’ve been real big on making sure to help out, and when PJ ceased, keep the day alive, despite so many people stepping away because they don’t like the “new Juggalos” or don’t like putting up with the Kennywood security.  Either way, I don’t think I’ve seen less than 50 people show up for that group picture, and as many as 200 in previous years.  I once explained this event, and others we do here at WPAJ, to Chris Brogan, one of the foremost names in social networking, and he was impressed by what we’ve accomplished, even telling us we’ve figured it out on camera.  (about 2 mins. in.)
If that’s not enough to show how important this day has become, a “Kennywood Facts” page actually lists it amongst the usual (and official to the park) Nationality Day…

Nationality Days

Nationality Days are several annual events, each spotlighting a different local culture. These include, but are not limited to, Irish Day, Greek Day, Juggalo Day, Serbian Day, Croatian Day, Slovak Day, and Italian Day. On these days some of the park’s many picnic pavilions will be in use for entertainers of the particular day’s nationality, including ethnic dancers.
In the end, I’ve been honored to be a part of something really cool along with the PJ Crew and seemingly hundreds of our “closest friends” every year at Kennywood the last 8 years.  I hope that when the summer rolls around next year, someone, maybe the new Pittsburgh Juggalos, maybe whoever may take the mantle of WPAJ, or someone else entirely, takes the ball and brings us a Juggalo Day 10.
Do you have any Juggalo Day memories to share?  Post them here, or blog themand let us know!

Nate Da Mac had a run of comics based on the discussions and situations we ran into as a crew on the site.  Here were some of the best ones:

This one led to inspiration for Monkey Flings Poo.

Real situation from a party….

Also a real situation after the Khymira Experiment mini.
