PERSONAL MESSAGE FROM HEAD

What's Up Everyone:

I know its been a while since I posted my last blog to you all....but I have been soooo busy with a bunch of GREAT STUFF, and wanted to post a short blog before the weekend. (There will be more blogs and video blogs to come soon). So, here is the scoop for now:

1. DEBUT ALBUM: The Album is completely done and mastered!!!! It is in duplication right now. Only 39 more days til the Album Drops. I cannot wait for you guys to hear the full album. Just so you know, the Album will be available at Best Buy, Target, Walmart, Borders, Barnes and Nobles, I Tunes, and other digital delivery sites on the 9th of September.

2. POSTING NEW MUSIC SAMPLES: Within the next 7 to 10 days, I will be posting further samples of some of the other songs on the Album. The idea is to upload a different Sample song evey week over the next 4 weeks til the Album drops. Stay tuned to myspace page, as well as my website www.brianheadwelch.net and www.drivenmusicgroup.net for these new songs every week!!!!

3. MUSIC VIDEO SHOOTING THIS WEEKEND IN LOS ANGELES: I will be in Los Angeles this weekend shooting the music video for "Flush." We have a crazy idea for a treatment that we have worked really hard on. I can't tell you much about it yet, but I can say that it probably isn't what most people are expecting from me. Stay tuned to myspace and my websites for the video. It should be hitting right around the time of the album drop. MTV2 Headbanger's Ball programming should have further updates for you guys on the Album and the Music Video starting the weekend of August 16th, and every weekend after that up to the September 9th street date.

4. MYSPACE/KORNSPACE: I received 100's of questions from the Krazy Kornspace Krew. I will be uploading several video blogs over the next several weeks on my Myspace page and/or my website(s) answering as many questions as possible. Thanks for being patient. I wanted to do this sooner, but have been swamped.

5. WWW.BRIANHEADWELCH.NET: We will be updating my website over the next 10 days with new content. Also, the Fan Forum page (headspace) is targeted to go live very soon too, hopefully within the next 10 days. It will be a cool place to hang out with your friends, send instant message chats, get updates on "Everything Head," or just chill and look at the new content.

Our initial intention of releasing the Julien-K record in a totally new manner has been taking much longer than expected – and instead of waiting any longer, we are now working on releasing DTA in a more traditional way. We hope to have it available to you before the end of the year. 

To show our appreciation to all of you for waiting so long, we have decided to GIVE AWAY a limited number of a new limited edition 6 song EP at our upcoming shows. This EP will have some songs you have heard, and some you haven't. One song in particular I think you will be very happy to finally have in your hands, on your computer, or however you chose. All the songs will be the actual mastered album tracks – which we have not released yet. The versions we have released thus far are lower bit-rate, and as a result, not very high quality – by design. 

Of course we will be signing all of them after we play each night at the merch booth…..

I've been getting this question since the tour was announced so I'm going to go ahead and make announcements on it. We will be having meet and greets at the upcoming shows. The street team gets first priority to fill the slots and then after a few days of adding the street teamers to the list I'll open up the M&G to the rest of the myspace fans to fill the empty slots. So what I'm going to do is go ahead and open it up for the first three shows. Dude I just got back from the Mindless Self Indulgence Concert, FUCKING SICK!!!!

London After Midnight was alright but like no motivation, just boring but the bass player did try and make people clap.

I talk to Mayra from the Julien-K concert which was pretty fucking kool. We were like right by each other for like 10 to 20 mins with out even knowing.lol

The Birthday Massacre was soooooooooooooooooo fUCKing GoooD.

They got the place moving an woke me the fuck up!
