We're hittin' the road. Couldn't wait until everything gets confirmed to tell you, so I thought I'd throw the dates that we know up and see who freaks out the most (besides Jorge; WUSSUP ROCKER?). If you live in a major city that isn't Portland or Seattle (sorry, looks like we'll be gettin' to San Fran and turning right), we'll be around. And yes, we'll be playing some new songs... YESSSSSSS-ahhhhh.

hey all. so, we recorded this record back in the summer and we've been so excited about sharing it with you guys. but, things beyond our control have made it so that our release date keeps getting pushed back. I mean, i am freakin dying here. We all want to be touring and playing these songs for you and handing you our record. Literally i am dying. well not really, ha. blaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh. we couldn't wait any longer , so you gave you snippets of two new songs from the record on our page. please keep in mind that they are unmastered as well. I know it is such a tease and we're sorry. But this is all we can do for now. Believe me, if we could give you the whole friggin record, we would,but we can't :( thank you, thank you, thank you for being so patient. please have faith that sometime in the near future we will be on the road non fuckin stop, supporting our record.

Wussup rockers. Thought you all deserved a few bits of news and information:

1. It's been a little while since we left Hollywood and the recording studio, but we've started to get a few mixes back from the legendary British producer/engineer ALAN MOULDER (Killers, Yeah Yeah Yeah's, PJ Harvey, Nick Cave, My Bloody Valentine, Smashing Pumpkins, Swervedriver, etc.), and things are sounding awesome. We're hoping to have the entire record mixed soon, and are still pretty much on schedule to have it out early next year. We're HOPING. It sure is hard to type with your fingers crossed...

2. We've got a few shows booked around Ambulette Central Headquarters (Chicago) in December. We're taking it easy the rest of this year to focus on record-related things, and to get ready to tour a ton next year, so we won't be getting to either coast or the south this time, but we'll be getting out more in 2007. Promise.

3. Our insurance policy came through at the end of the summer (the last week of recording, of course), and we've been able to replace a lot of the instruments and equipment that were stolen from us this past spring. That doesn't mean we don't want our old stuff back, but at least we can play shows again.

That's it, dooods. Thanks for all the emails, and i hope this answers some questions for alls y'all. We'll keep working on this record. Hope we see you all in DeKalb in DeCember.

so our band will be on t.v. really late at night on sept 16th (that's saturday right?). it on a show called fearless on fox t.v.
here is the thing, it's in nyc and then a bunch of random other places. i'll post to you what they told us to post so people could find out details. let us know how it is cause one place it's not shown is chicago.

well hello
so the recording of the record has been completed. yes we are finally done with it. now we need to find somebody to mix it. we recorded 14 songs for y'all. if you've ever asked us, "are you gonna record that one song i heard that one time" or " if the mess and save it weren't on the e.p. will they be on the full length", now we have an answer for you. yes. yes to all your questions ( except "can you help get us a show?). if i knew the names to our songs i'd tell you everything we recorded but i don't so i won't. the record should be out early next year and we can't wait for everyone to hear it. maura killed it and it sounds great and blah blah blah blah...
anyway, please stay in contact. we miss you. we are trying to do some touring before the year is over so look for that. then we begin to prepare for the ambulette assult on the world. none of us have ever made a record of this size that will have the support that hopefully this record will have. it's all new to us. next year should be lots of fun. i'll start napping now to get the energy.
so to wrap it up...the record has been recorded. it will be out early next year (i think). we will tour before that. and we miss you.

the record is really coming together now. we are at the final stretch and i must say the shit is sounding good. last week was shark week. that was cool. saw an xmen lady while hiking. partied some. bought a cute little dress. weeeeee! the dudes are just being dudes. boring. l.a. man. sick stuff.

so we're at a bbq in west hollywood right now with our friend and legend...cornbread compton. it is nice and the dirty house cat just scratched me. we are about to go to another bbq that has a white trash theme..
so how is the recording going. well, unless something changes, we've finished the drum tracks and most of the bass tracks. things are sounding great. for those of you who have been asking about songs, here is your answer. yes
yes save it was recorded. yes stay was recorded. yes the mess was recorded. yes they all were recorded. so that's it for now. we will try and post some pics or movies soon.

so pre-production is finished and we are finally laying down the music that will be our full length record. so far we have the basic tracks for six songs finished. those songs for those in the know are..we are here, bella lea, my only crime, some untitled song, the mess, into the sea. we have many more to record but we've got what we believe to be a great start. the studio we are in is really neato and we have a wonderful team of people helping us. our producers name is dave schiffman and he is a superstar. we can't wait to have this record out so you guys can hear it. keep checking back and we'll keep writing.
