The picture you saw there was after the spot had been laser removed. Here is what I can tell you. IF (1) a spot is solid black, (2) two differnt shades of brown, or (3) is brown with a red ring around the outside of the spot, you must get it checked. This is why I posted the pictures because I wanted my friends to know what to look for.  This is also why I ask my doctor to take my own pictures of the operation so I could educate my friends.  Just take a moment and look at your skin.  Thats all I would ask.
