Hello!
Just wanted to write a brief blurb about the new song I've posted. While I wrote it quite recently, it's more of a harking back into the past. I've tried to capture one of those moments when you're single and in awe of someone you're talking to, but you really don't want to be in awe of them, and you really want to maintain your pride. As I tried to convey in 'Youth', life doesn't resound as much as I get older. Life is good in so many ways, but I find that for the sake of my songs I often need to look backwards, to times when hormonal balance was nothing more than a distant, desperate hope. But then the overall sentiment of the song probably transcends our teenage years, if you have even the vaguest insecurities about your own self-worth in the company of others. It's all rubbish, really. Hope you enjoy the song.

Think I'll try and keep up a bit of a blog on here, to make use of all the glorious myspace facilities 'n' that. Thanks to all you guys that have been listening to my songs - I'm overwhelmed by your support!

Have reordered the songs so that Goodbye is first again, as most people have mentioned that as their favourite so far. I've got some new ones all ready to go of course, but apparently my 8-track has an "earthing" problem. Errrr. So I've got to mail it back to the makers! That's all well and good, but when you commute to work on the train and are therefore never at home when the post office is open, it leaves me with a broken heap of junk! Great. But maybe a bit of a break is good at this juncture anyway. (When I rule the world, post offices and banks will open only in the evenings.)
