Hi!

Now we finally got green lights from all involved parts for our next album.

The songs are written, we are a few lyrics short but that shouldn't be a problem. Now we have to find a date that suites all of the involved and my guess is February or March. I believe that a release around Septemper 2010 could be possible if Napalm has the same oppinion as I have. We have already decided the title for the album, at least for 99% but things can change so I don't want to go public with it at this point. We are talking about outting one of the songs on our player, but it would be a rehearsment recording with all quality issues that comes with such a recording. I'll be back with more information as soon as we have anything new to say.

Hi there friends!

As you might have seen we have cancelled two shows in Germany in June 2010. This has to do with certain exclusiveness claims from other organizers and is of course something that we did not plan. It happend by misstake as we are quite new in the gig business. We hope to have the possibility to compensate this for the ones of you who planned to catch the shows and play for you on another occasion.

Hi there!

Now it was a while ago we wrote something here. So, I thought I'd give you all a status report about what we have planned.

The summer festivals for this year are over and we really want to thank all of you who attended any of our gigs, some of you went to all of the gigs we had in Germany and it's really amazing and wonderful to have as dedicated fans as you!

We've had the time to talk to many of you and it is a warm memory to think back on now when we are preparing new recordings.

The Fejd plan is to start the recordings of our second full length album around November or December 2009, we already have most of the songs written and are very exited to enter the studio once again, this time knowing that we have a label who supports us and that we will be able to get our music out to our fans.

We are also talking about recording the old "demo" tracks again as we know lots of people wants them and we play many of the old ones live. This will in that case be totally new recordings with some different arrangements on some of them.
We don't want to put the old recordings on a cd and just release them as they are because we want the owners of the "demos" to feel that what they bought is something special and rare.

We'll come back with more information about the recordings as we get closer to our goal.

This is a part of an interview I did with Rockzoom, it contains a translation on Älvorna Dansar, the original interview is in German so I thought I'll give the rest of you the same as the Germans got;)

The themes of our lyrics are very varyed and quite poetic written in swedish and hard to get right when translated and its really not fair to Patrik to translate. But for you I'll try.

Älvorna Dansar ( Dance of the fairies)

Enchanting beauty in the dance of fairies

Shimmering being of light

Tears of silver in (Daggkåpa = Alchemilla Vulgaris, a plant) embrace

Twilight carefully falls

A mother of age so old and worn

still searching for the traces

She follows the paths in the green moss beds

A feather bed without life

See them then follow them tonight

Fairies dancing wildly on moon steep meadows

Silver covered is the ground in wizardrys garb

A mirage made of light so captivating and tempting

Tones of a song with appealing words

Wandering souls they float as haze

Arched in the play of the fairies

The griefing mother falls to her knees of pardon

Its been a while since we wrote something here and just to be fair too you I'll tell you a little something about what we are doing for the moment.

First of all we want to thank all the people we meet at Ragnarök, you really made this event very special for us, Thanks;)

For the moment we have a lot of time to spend, we are between gigs so we thought we had to do something with the time we have over.
We are working with some new songs for our next album, we have two songs that are completely finished and a bunch of songs that we have started with, the aim is a late 2009 or early 2010 recording.
Today we spotted locations for a video we are about to make, if everything works as planned and the weather is with us the video should be finished before the end of this month.
And finally, for the one's of you who asked for Fejd merch, Napalm has decided too make Fejd T-shirts. We don't know when the T-shirts will be ready for sales but at least they are on the way.

I guess something is better than nothing;)
