3-Hour Salsa Boot Camp
with Jay Byam and Esteban Conde (Argentina)
6:30 p.m. Beginning & Intermediate Salsa

(2) Easy-Salsa Basics
A judge, instructor, and promoter, Jay Byam is one of a handful certified
Salsa instructors in the USA. He has been teaching Salsa and other dances
since 1980s. He is also a creator of Salsa Extravaganza, which has become a
model business for many dance conventions. His style of Salsa, called Suave
Salsa, was developed with Zeanie Yoon, evolving Salsa dance into more
elegant style of dance. He was the first teacher's training program in
"Salsa Congress" history, guiding teachers to be where they are today. He
mainly teaches in various locations internationally, including Ventura &
Santa Barbara Counties, Los Angeles County, Canada and other countries.

Esteban Conde, former director and Choreographer of Rumbavana Entertainment,
taught and performed in many cities throughout the state and the nation. He
has been placed in top 3 in many competitions and a winner of Salsa
Extravaganza Pro Jack-n-Jill division in 2006. His dance style is unique and
admired, combining many different dance styles, from Cuban Rumba to the
Argentine Tango. His classes are characterized for combining technical facts
in a very fun environment. Esteban and his partner Espie have developed an
incredible dance style, recognized for its speed, variety of footwork and
blasting spins.

3-Hour Casino Rueda Boot Camp
with Damon Webber, Rueda4Fun
6:30 p.m. Beginning-Novice Casino Rueda
7:30 p.m. Intermediate Casino Rueda
8:30 p.m. Intermediate
Damon Webber is one of the most qualified Casino Rueda instructors in the
west coast. He grew up dancing Casino Rueda and it became a part of him.
Unlike many instructors who "grew up" with dancing, he knows how to break
down Casino Rueda and efficiently turn ordinary dancers into Casineros. His
Rueda4Fun meets every Saturday in Santa Monica, mostly geared toward
intermediate and advanced dancers. (Yup, his students are THAT good. You
will see why!) He has been one of the most asked staff for Casino Rueda
Congress at Salsa Extravaganza. We are proud to present Damon at Salsa
Extravaganza as well as Rueda Boot Camp at Club Promenade on August 11!
Come learn Rueda. If you do not know what it is, it is about time that you
learned it! You will be hooked!
