It's been awhile.. actually it's been a really long time.. but CPR is finally ready to unveil one of our new tunes.   It's called Left Right Wrong.  Many of you have heard it during our live sets throughout the year, but through several regurgitations it is ready for your ears. (i hope you brought protection).

The song was written by Lord Ickarus, Cash Till, Quartuccio!, Chubby as well as John Logan.

Left Right Wrong was produced, engineered, and recorded by our longtime colleague, John Logan. (be sure to drop him a line and thank him for making this happen)

You may have noticed that we've posted a track titled "Funky Time Machine" on our playlist.  It's a new-old song. we reworked/remixed/rewrote "keep your receipt" (from our album OK CONSUMER) that was chosen to be the theme song for E! Entertainment Network's 5-part series "101 Favorite Stars Way Back When".

It's a cool version that we recorded at Perfect 11 Studios a few years ago. It sounds similar to the live version of Keep Your Receipt that we've been playing for a while. Anyway, We decided to post it here to tie ya'll over while we finish up some new tracks. Enjoy. (or don't)

The Cobalt Party Revolution track, Who Wants to Party has landed on the soundtrack for the film, Ping Pong Playa, starring Jimmy Tsai and Roger Fan and directed by Jessica Yu. The song is featured predominantly in the movie as well as in the trailer (see it here, CPR comes in at :46 sec). The DVD and Soundtrack is available now. (get it at amazon.com).  We are really excited about this opportunity; for one, the movie is actually good, and two; Lakeshore Records have released several successful soundtracks (such as Napoleon Dynamite, The Last Kiss and Superbad).
Synopsis: A young Chinese-American man who presents himself with a streetwise, ghetto swagger and dreams of a career as a basketball star, but he finds his real gift as a ping-pong player and coach, leading an odd squad of students to a local championship.

 Lightning Strikes Twice!

The new Quizno's ad for the "Garlic Bread Prime Rib Sub" is showing across North America right now, it features a new Cobalt Party Revolution song. Check out the commercial over at You Tube. Sound Familiar? The song was also used in the Movie Trailer for the DreamWorks film, The Last Kiss. (see it at You Tube).

By popular demand we have now made the song available for FREE download right here at our myspace page. (get it here). Ironically enough, This is actually the second CPR song in a Quiznos commercial. Last year, "hiphop don't stop" showed up in one too.

Special thanks to Steve Mazur for addin' some sweet licks and Sarah Huston for contributing her voice to the new tune, "Stand Around (don't just)"
