As the Rose Of Lee, Dirty South is well known as one of the places that regularly hosted Kate Bush gigs.

Dirty South is in Zone 2 (Inner London). A 5 minute walk from Lewisham Town Centre., it's three stops from Lewisham train & dlr station (thats quarter of an hour from the West End and City, and easy from the East End via the East London Line to New Cross).
Dirty South has buses galore and is within easy reach of Sidcup, Eltham, Greenwich, Blackheath, Brockley, Brixton, Eltham, Hither Green, Lee, Plumstead, Kidbroke, Woolwich, Crystal Palace, New Cross, Bromley...
Buses that stop outside the venue include 178, 321, 122, 261 and the N21 night bus runs every 15 minutes between Sidcup/Trafalgar Square.

The Jamm group of London venues are booking slots at live music events for emerging artists. These shows have a regular following in the industry, media coverage, and are a great way of getting connected.

The shows are headlined and presented by a variety of exciting and established high profile acts and DJ slots including Alabama3, Mani (Primal Scream, Stone Roses), Mark Morriss (The Bluetones), Terry Hall (The Specials), Peter Hook (New Order, Tom Hingley (Inspiral Carpets), Andy Rourke (The Smiths), Bez (Happy Mondays) - Legends In Lewisham.
Shows will take place at one of the following London venues,

White Lion SW16

Dirty South. SE13
We are looking for talented artists/bands who are serious about professionally organised gigs and have a passion for performing their music live - with fully specd P.A. to capacity crowds. All that we request is that you are able to sell tickets to your own following. This DIY promotion is a chance to make some serious money, above the going rate, and has already proved a successful way of giving bands higher fees.

This also gains your fans and friends entry to enjoy a great bill (with at least three equally high quality, ambitious and entertaining support acts also playing) plus the audience of the headline act.With special guest DJs at every event plus photographers, bands and gig promoters in the crowd, the buzzy vibe adds up to a proper night out to remember.
Obviously the other support acts will all be required to sell their allocation of tickets also, allowing your performance to reach a wider audience.

There is the added bonus of these venues being not only connected to a recording studio (offering further opportunities for associated acts), but also part of the thriving and ever growing South London scene.

These nights have been proving to be increasingly popular on the live ciruit and are talked about among the new and emerging bands as 'THE' night to perform on!
