Heyyy guys!

How are you all??  So sorry it’s been a while since we’ve written to you, but we’ve been going crazy trying to get things moving at our label!  Anyway, the other day I read this great article by Jonathen Lethem called, The Ecstacy of Influence” and it got me thinking.   His article talked about the importance of artists sharing their work.  He explained that it is the influence and inspiration from older artists that gives birth to new generations of artists.  His article emphasizes the necessity for artists to share their work in order to inspire other artists and keep the cycle going.  It made me think of all of my inspirations and how if it weren’t for them, I wouldn’t have ever picked up a pen to write a song!  So, I talked to Brit and we decided to take Lethem’s advice.  We decided that it is about time we share our creativity!  We can’t wait around any longer for our label to make a move, while they leave our songs sitting on their desks, while all of our friends continue asking to hear more from us!  I’m sorry if this makes them mad, but we’re not waiting anymore!  We’re taking back the control! lol   Every week or two, we’re going to put up a new song for you guys to have.  Lethem wrote about “the gift-aspect of the creative act,” so our first gift to you is our song BEAutiful, which we wrote about a year and a half ago with The Dream.  It is one of our favorite songs, so we hope you guys like it too!  Maybe it will inspire some of you to create something even better!! Let’s keep the music coming!! :)
