12/31/07 there will be a Party of Epic proportions happening at The Blue Note here in Columbia as VIDEOLOGY & The Record Collector present thier "RHYTHM & SOUL REVUE"!!!

THE RHYTHM & SOUL REVUE!!!
I cannot tell you in words or especially over the Internet just how Great this band is!!! 14 folks onstage complete w/horn section, organ & keys, guitars, drums & percussion & 1 hell of a charasmatic front man that is accompanied w/backup singers with vocal solos & harmonies that will blow U away, performing those soulful hits from the 60's & early 70's and polished off with a multimedia presentation of footage from the era layered w/Live cameras!!!


If you were at last years VIDEOLOGY NYE party, you witnessed what a spectacle & blow-out Party that was & this year VIDEOLOGY vows to top that by providing more Razzle Dazzle for this year's New Year's Bash, more Confetti Cannons, more Balloons, more Lights, more Video Screens, more Everything!!! Then prepare yourself for the "Midnight Video Countdown to 2008" & Champagne toast as we welcome in the year 2008 with a Bang!

VIDEOLOGY hosts "The Blue Note's" 27th Anniversary Party Wed. Aug. 1st!!!

Join us this Wed. evening Aug. 1st for the 27th B-Day to the day of the opening of it's doors!!! Come on out and wish The Blue Note Happy 27th Birthday!!!
This Party is FREE!!!

Unfortunately "The Polyphonic Spree" won't be able to join us this Wed. as it seems "The Fragile Army" is a bit Fragile! On their first jaunt out on the road in support of the latest Polyphonic Spree Album "The Fragile Army" the entire Band, Choir, and frontman Tim Delaughter were overcome with some kind of intense stomach flu or awful funk of sorts! Tim went to a doctor on Friday afternoon and was warned to give his voice a break and time to heal and to not risk further sickness or damage to his chords. I've talked to Tim and he says they will make up these dates asap!

Regardless, this Wed. Aug. 1st join us for an evening of VIDEOLOGY as we Celebrate The Blue Note's 27th B-Day!!! We'll have 3 large screens spinin' some of the Best Underground Music Videos ever made. We'll see some of the latest underground release's as well as some "old school" throw-backs!

In honor of "The Blue Note's 27th B-Day" we'll have some B-Day Cake, we'll fire off some Confetti Cannons, we'll try and call Tim Delaughter(frontman) of The Polyphonic Spree on the phone to check in on his health & the health of "The Fragile Army". We'll even have some Indie Rock-Karoke performed by YOU "Live" on The Blue Note Stage!!!

Ever had the notion to get on that Blue Note Stage, grab a microphone and belt out a few lines??? Well here's your chance! This Wed. night, once you've drank a lil' courage juice, we'll hand you a couple of micropohnes and you & a friend can show us what you got! Within reason. :-)

Also, we'll be Filming for our TV episode and we are looking for you to tell us about your favorite Blue Note Show, Story or Memory of your past history @ The Blue Note!

We hope you can spend this special evening with us as we Celebrate 27 yrs. of one of the Best Independent & locally owned Venues in America... little lone Missouri.

OK Music Video Fans, this is your last week to catch the latest VIDEOLOGY episode on CAT TV as we set down & catch up with "The Flaming Lips"!!!
This time I take it to the Streets and with the questions I get a lil help from my friends! I pre-recorded the questions from some of our locals here in COMO from the likes of "Pants"(East Side), "Liz M. & Jeff Sweatman"(BXR), "Kevin" (Kevin's World), "Chris G."(Teller's), Kyle(Blue Note), and Tracy Lane(Tribune/Blue Note) just to name a few...
Anyway the responses as well as the answers from THE LIPS are charming & quite humorous, I think it turned out great! Plus you'll get a sneak peek at their new 30ft x 30ft Spaceship they have built, I saw them land on Stage at the OKC Zoo Amphitheater and it was over the top! Bother, The Flaming Lips have landed!

So check it out and holler back and let me know what you think!
