Since last year, we've been playing a lot of different songs and also trying different sounds..... and now, we can say we're very happy with where we're going... Hope you'll be as well !

The Tunnel show is now done... and was amazing! A great venue with a fun and interesting atmosphere. It 's was really fun to make people sing with us... on many songs ! Thanks to Gregg (from the Parking / Tunnel) and the Upbear teams.

Im very happy to inform you about the 5th Annual FFN Toronto Weekend that will take place Friday, July 20th through Sunday, July 22, 2007!

It starts off with the Welcome to Toronto Party @ Alibi on Friday night, July 20th.

AGITATOR pulls out all the stops on Saturday night, July 21st and quickly kicks the party into high gear and will kick your ass with a leather & fetish dance party extravaganza featuring New York's hot DJ Scotty Thomson.

The fair, FFN5 opens at 12 Noon on Sunday, July 22, 2007 @ the Conservatory Dome in historic Allan Gardens featuring the FFN Marketplace with over 75 vendors, The Great Lakes Beer Garden, RECON entertainment stages and separate dance area –under the Conservatory Dome – it's all one big kinky carnival!

Our goal: have fun, play music together and if we have the chance to do more... we will go all the way J We did a few shows in 2006 and many projects on the table for 2007 (in quebec, the rest of Canada and even the US). Yes we are in Montreal, but if you're not around (or so close ot it) we can always manage it for rehearsals....

 

Bear Crusader was founded 2 yrs ago.

 

Our style: Rock, punk, alternative,... likePlacebo, Indochine, Weezer, Green Day, Billy Talent, Anti-Flag, … We have some songs written by the band, but we will love to write more (with our drummer, if possible)....

Bear Crusader, un band formé depuis près de 2 ans, recherche un drummer.

 

Notre but : avoir du plaisir… jouer ensemble… faire des shows.. Nous n'avons pas la prétention de vouloir percer a tout prix, mais si on a  la possibilité de la faire, on ne dira pas non…. Nous sommes basé a Montréal… mais si tu n'es pas de la région, on peut s'arranger pour les pratiques….

Hello everybody !! first of all, let me wish you all (a little late, i know lol) a very happy new year !!!

So what's new with us.... humm since the end of the year, we're now a trio (2 guitars and 1 bass) and it gave us a new edge and energy. You can already see that int he video section :-)

Many projects are on the table, but right now we can't really talk about it. But for sure, we have plans for many shows here and there (now it's up to you to figure where is here and there lol !)

Is it true or false... But according some spies and some secret peoples, we heard that Bear Crusader will be doing a concert in Montréal in December. We even heard of the possible date, it's December 9th... Is it true ??? Is it a total rumor ???

Cornwall est du passée ! Ce samedi, dès 10am, on était sur la route dans notre super Bear Crusader Van... heheheh... en direction de Cornwall pour notre show(durant leur Gay Pride). Tout un voyage ! Bientôt sur le site, vous pourrez même visionner quelques petits extraits du voyage a Cornwall...

Comment s'est passé le show ? Hummm la grande question ! On peut dire que nous avons bien fait... même je pense que certains ont dû être dépeigné par notre musique rock :-) Malgré la température un peu nuageuse et plutôt novembre, il devait y avoir entre 200-300 personnes dans le parc au moment du show.

Je vous suggère d'aller voir les nouveaux vidéos du concert de CORNWALL sur notre page VIDEO et aussi quelques nouvelles photos prises par des fanssur la page PHOTO.

Cornwall was amazing ! This past saturday, at 10am, we were already on the road in our SUPER BEAR CRUSADER Van... An amazing fun trip to Cornwall. Be sure to check our website soon, we will post some clips taken by our camera inside the VAN... Oh oh !!!

How was the show ? Wow that's the big question ! It was amazing. Too bad the weather wasnt that great to bring more poeple in the park ! We had at least 200-300 persons in the park when we played :-) One thing is sure, we did rock in Cornwall... and some were a little surprised (hehehehe) :-)

It's official.... Bear Crusader will be playing in Ontario... in Cornwall for the Pride festival... September 2th around 4:30pm... but during all day, you'll be able to see shows and have fun !!! Hope to see you all there... More info, click on the TOUR link.

Woooooow, since July 26th, Montreal is going CRAZY with the 1st Outgames !!

More than 12000 peoples registered and also a lot of parties. Sadly, Bear Crusader is not doing any show ... We had planned to be part of the Bear Night Contest, but the organization was so bad and we decided to no get involved with it.

Some quick news:

A new audio player to listen Bear Crusader in the Audio page.
We also decided to change drummer

More projects and info... and maybe some shows outside Montreal and maybe the province soon...

Hé oui, depuis le 26 juillet, Montréal vibre avec les 1er Outgames !

Plus de 12 000 participants et de nombreux partys... Hé non, Bear Crusader ne fait aucun spectacle durant les Outgames. Il y avait des plans pour un show durant la soirée Bear, mais avec le manque d'organisation de l'événement, nous avons choisi de ne pas nous impliqué.

Également, voici quelques nouveautés:

Un nouveau lecteur audio pour écouté les mp3 de Bear Crusader
Changement au sein du groupe, nous avons un nouveau drummer.

Prochainement, plusieurs projets et shows... dont un qui sera p-e presenté dans une autre province !!!

C'est pas facile d'être une rock star.... mais tôt ou tard, il faut sortir de notre studio et jouer devant des gens....

C'est ce que l'on a fait hier soir... Notre premier show.... 15 juillet 22h au Bistro de Paris.... sur St-Denis.... Et comme un peu cet hiver, lors d'un supposé show sur scene extérieur mais fût cancellé a cause de température extrême froide... celui-ci fût l'inverse.... TRÈS HOT !!!!

Un show d'une heure... avec WEEZER et aussi certaines de nos compositions qui fût trrès bien acceuillies....

Moment fort de soirée.... je pense selon moi Beverly Hills... Certains vidéos sont disponibles sur le site dans la page Vidéo.

It's not that easy to be a rock star... but sooner or later we need to kick ourself out of the studio and play on a real stage !!!

It's what we did last night.... Our first show: July 15th 10pm at Bistro de Paris... And this time it was hooooooooooooooot..... like 30C + realfeel... so was very hot on stage.....

An hour show with Weezer and also a lot of our news songs who were pretty well received :-)

The big moment was i think Beverly hills.... Some video from the concert are on the Video Page.....

You wished you were there ???? Oh well, the're always a 2nd show..... Stay tuned for more info...
