June Jibberish!

..>..> Hi, Hope you are well!  Here is what Jibbering is up to over the next few weeks.  We have got some great live music lined up and the, slightly delayed, opening of Jibbering's new art exhibition. 1, Events Smerin's Anti Social Club will be performing at the next Jibbering Live- Upstairs @ The Cross, Moseley, Sat 16th June.  At last!!  Smerin's bring their unique funk, latin, ska fusion up to Brimingham.  Their amazing live shows have been mashing up festivals across the country and in 2005 they totally annihilated the Shambala Main Stage.  This will be a real treat folks!  DJ support from Mr Muz of Munchbreak fame and DJ Robin of Jam Jah and Friendly Fire. Emunah  Another Birmingham debut, this time from the London based Emunah.  Hailing from a wide variety of backgrounds, including Jewish, Palestinian, Pakistani, Irish and Russian, Emunah's repertoire spans hip hop, reggae and drum and bass.  They will shake the dancefloor with their unique fusion of melodies from around the world, kicking beats, uplifting vocals and rolling basslines.  At the all new Hare and Hounds, Kings Heath on Saturday 7th July. Shambala Festival 24-26th August, Northamptonshire- (beautiful new site).  Shambala is now rapidly taking shape into the finest party of the summer.  The line up is already looking better than ever and visual treats, workshops, cabaret and endless surprises are also lined up to make this weekend a truly spectacular event.  Remember that Saturday night is fancy dress!!  Tickets are on sale either from the shop or Online. Jibbering Sessions every Wednesday at the Bull's Head, Moseley are going swimmingly.  Every week a Jibbering DJ is joined by a friendly guest serving up a choice selection of beats n treats from here, then, there and now.  Hope to catch ya there for a great mid week social! 2, Gallery Our next art exhibition starts on 22nd June and features the work of Tom Lewis, a superb painter and illustrator based in Warwick.  Originals, prints and cards will all be available.  There will be a little launch soiree on the 22nd, so come along for a bit of bubbles and an oppurtunity to meet the artist. 3, Website The new website is developing quickly now It is going to look wicked, it is going to work like a dream and it is going to be much easier for us to use and update.  So, hopefully, our next email will be coming right at you from the all new www.jibbering.co.uk.  How exciting!! I am really excited about this one.  Having played at Shambala twice, most notably killing the mainstage on Saturday night in 2005, we just had to get George Smerin and his clan up to Birmingham.... it was only a matter of time.  Brilliant funky rhythms, wickedly heavy bass lines and one of the tightest horn sections around... these guys are a real treat.  I hope that you all can make it!
