Hey all you RedHeds! 

We just submitted our songs "Anywhere But Here" and "Gone" for consideration in the Download for the Cure program in the fight against cancer.  You can all do your part for this great cause by checking out the websites in the links to Download for the Cure on our MySpace site.

Red Seven

So I'm eating lunch on Monday when I get a call from Dave (our bass player) telling me Red Seven is going to be the featured artist on WLUP 97.9 FM's Halftime Show!  How cool is that?  Red Seven's "Everytime" on the airwaves to thousands of loyal LOOP listeners in Chicago!! 

Then I check our MySpace page and see that one of our friends / fans (Ken from Bensenville) has e-mailed to tell us he heard we were going to be featured on the LOOP!  How nice is that?  So a big thanks to Ken for the heads up!

And I know that a HUGE number of our fans called / e-mailed the LOOP that day to request more Red Seven - so thanks to you all and we'll see what happens!  (for those of you who didn't hear it or haven't yet requested more Red Seven, you can send WLUP a request at: http://www.wlup.com/Global/request_form.aspx)

Could the day get any better??

Then I get a call from Kris at Fearless Radio (www.fearlessradio.com) telling me they played a few cuts from our debut CD on air that day to really positive feedback from their listeners!   They liked the stuff so much we've been invited to do an in-studio interview / live session at the Fearless studios on October 19th.  Un-freakin-believable!  And I know you'll all tune it to catch that show 'cause Rocco is way cool and you'll find out some interesting things about the band I'm sure ...

But wait, it gets better ...

I then get an e-mail from Chance at 1049 The Edge telling me we are this month's featured artist on www.1049theedge.com !!  Are you kidding me?  This is fantastic - and I know everyone will tune in to take a listen to the on-line spins of Red Seven's tunes and help support The Edge!!

So I just wanted to let you know your support continues to help Red Seven find its way onto the airwaves / cyberspace to a whole new group of "red heads" out there.  Thanks to all for your continued support and be sure to tune in to the stations / sites listed above to hear our tunes and support those who support us!

"Spread the Red"

We're going to try something a little different with our site.  Every few weeks we're going to be changing out our "Top 8" to feature new local bands that deserve your attention. 

You can help just by showing them your support.  Check 'em out, add them as a friend (and maybe to your "Top Friends" list), catch a show, buy / download the CD - whatever you can do to help support local music would be appreciated. 

It ain't easy to grab people's attention these days, so we hope this will maybe shine the spotlight on some bands that are working hard to make something happen.
