Right now we have the number 1 song on SongPlanet.com: A river to a flood from our debut CD, "Non-specific Gravity."

SongPlanet is a great internet radio station, and has been very good to us. The music played there is selected by their DJs, who have a great ear for good music.  Check em out if you get a chance!

Thanks to everyone who came out to see us at the Skylark on 5/31.  We had a great time, hope you did too.  Good to see some new faces in the crowd, and thanks as always to those of you who have been to all of our shows.

We got to meet two DJ's from internet radio station SongPlanet.com, which was a bonus.  DJ Axe and DJ Motmot came to see us (one of them travelling from Victoria!) -- it was nice to finally put faces with the names.  Thanks for the t-shirts too.  Speaking of SongPlanet, we continue to get good airplay over there -- those DJ's must have good taste...  If you haven't checked it out you should. 

We are working on a few more shows for this summer.  We'll announce them here and on our mailing list.

Hey there, just a quick reminder that we are playing a show at the Skylark Cafe & Club on Thursday night (5/31). 

The Skylark is a great place for live music and this should be a fun show.  We're the second band that night, and should be on stage about 10:00pm. We're going to get to the club around 7:30pm -- please come early and hang out with us!  No cover!

Just noticed that we have two songs in SongPlanet's Top 10 Radio Songs for the last 5 days (The Bar is Closing and Fragile, two songs from A Murder of Crows, our second CD).  Thanks for the support, that is very cool.

SongPlanet is a great internet radio station.  Since they have actual DJs picking the music, they are finding the best indie bands from around the world.  If you haven't checked them out, I strongly recommend it.

Thanks for everyone who came out to see us last week at The Central for our CD (re)Release Show.  We had a blast and were happy to see you there. Special thanks the folks who flew up from California for the show (you know who you are).  In case you missed it, we should have some video from the show posted in a couple weeks -- stay tuned for that.

We are lining up more shows.  Best way to stay up on what we are doing is to subscribe to this blog and sign up for our mailing list.

Just a reminder -- we have a show coming up on Feb 25th at the Central Saloon in Seattle (Pioneer Square).  We're looking forward to this one.  This show will mark the 1 year anniversary of the release of This is My Happy Face, and we're calling it a CD (re)Release Party.  

This will also be the first show we've done with Mike Kirby on keyboards.  Mike played keys on about half the songs on This is My Happy Face, and is a great addition to the live show.  (Mike is a veteran of the Seattle scene, you may remember his band The Ghetto Monks).

The doors open at 9:00pm, and we'll be on stage from about 9:30pm to 10:30pm.  There is a $5 cover charge.  Two other good bands will follow us: The Liquid Now and Get Dressed.
