So we know we're a little late on this big Twitter craze, but we are up and running on both Twitter & Facebook. Both of these are still under construction but rest assured, in about two days you'll know everytime we eat food or take a big dump or get brutally injured hunting Hoggle in the Labrynth.
Every time Bill & Ted drop Station off at band practice, every time Jeremy plays Paul Bunyan with his car, everytime Rayne wakes up and says dude where IS my car? When Danny rubs his foreskin raw from sexual repression, when Tim gets asked to step out of the car after the officer who pulled him over swears he looks like that guy the amber alert was about ...you get the idea.
So please indulge our sick pleasures and add us on these sites and snoop through our lives like window peeping derelicts
Also, when we get 100 followers on Twitter we will be unveiling a tasty suprise.
Its fucking Hoggle bitches.

Dying Euforia only has 3 shows left to wrap up their 2009 summer/fall tour, ending in 2 huge Halloween bash shows on October 30th & 31st.

The band has been traveling & playing throughout the midwest since march 30th of 2009

Sharing the stage with noteworthy national acts Threat Signal,The Autumn Offering,The Agonist,Butcher Jones & The Crinn, Dying Euforia have successfully kicked in the door of the Midwest metal scene this summer and left their name all over the wall. And Litteraly leaving thier mark on a wall at a club in Iowa (mental note, no matter how sturdy a wall looks, you probably can not run up it and jump off of it lol)

Dying Euforia also announces the title of the new full length album & a series of extensive tours in support of the album.

The Band is wrapping up the writing process for what will be their 4th release, and their first ever full length album entitled "As The Last Memory Fades" and will enter pre-production in December of this year.

"As The Last Memory Fades" will display the true diversity of this melodic metal quintet.
Moving towards a more accessable hard rock sound but still keeping the same fist pumping intensity of our thrash roots, this new endevour by Dying Euforia will feature some of the most brutal music the band has ever recorded, yet will encompass by far the most melodic songs in our career thus far. "As the Last Memory Fades" is sure to catch the ears of any avid music fan." States Lead Vocalist Danny Z.

"The Musical interests and tastes of the members of D.E. combine for one of the most diverse grouping of influences you could ever imagine...You name it and at least one of us draws influence from it. We've got 11 songs written for the new album so far and let me tell ya...'As The Last Memory Fades' is an album that truly explores all of those influences. It would be like members of Pantera, Crowbar, CCR, Killswitch Engage, White Lion, Sonic Syndicate, Testament, Poison, Hank III, August Burns Red, Iron Maiden, Guns N' Roses, Heaven Shall Burn, A7X, Hinder, Slayer, In Flames, Primal Fear and The Guess Who Writing and Recording an album together!!" Comments founding guitarist Jeremy Blake.

A video blog recapping all of the insane events (the Mad Whacker, real Life Meg, the Twap Championship, Attack of the Foreskin, Who's sleeping with Who's mom, where's Rayne?, Jay Z's Birthday, "I am NOT sleeping in a house with SNAKES!!", the "Balls out" party with For Blood, "Who's house is this, what time is it, where am I and Who are you?") of the Brutal Yet Beautiful 2009 will be coming soon...

Love,

Dying Euforia

LYRICS:

"Truth, Trust, Ashes..."

I only ever tried to breathe
While you would only bide your time
To pull the rug from under me
Lay waste to my entire life

I'VE PURGED
MY LOVE
FOR YOUR
PAIN

Truth's bridge has been burnt
No common ground will be found for us
I'm rebuilding the foundations of trust
In the ashes

Truth's bridge has been burnt
No common ground will be found for us
I'm rebuilding the foundations of trust
In the ashes

Chorus
----------------------------------------
I owe you my all
My all
You speak so softly
Yet speak so proudly
Blind to your own undoing

I'VE PURGED
MY LOVE FOR PAIN
YOU'LL WEAR THE SHAME

Betrayed by my bloodline for the last time to feed THE GREED
Envied the hate this cannot ESCALATE
For my fate is in my own hands for THE FIRST TIME
I won't relinquish control over MY LIFE

I'VE PURGED
MY LOVE FOR PAIN
YOU'LL WEAR THE SHAME

Truth's bridge has been burnt
No common ground will be found for us
I'm rebuilding the foundations of trust
In the ashes

Truth's bridge has been burnt
No common ground will be found for us
I'm rebuilding the foundations of trust
In the ashes

Chorus
--------------------------------------------
I owe you my all
my all
You speak so softly
Yet speak so proudly
Blind to your own

UNDOING
--------------------------------------------------------------

"House of Falling Cards"

Eternal struggle
The battle fought within
You wage a war
From the inside
They try to blind
Your eyes with their sight
Will you, not stand
For yourself to fight?

NOW

Eternal struggle
You will wage a war
Eternal struggle
We will wage a war

A war to end all wars
We have heard it all before

The truth falls silent
Upon the damned

A war to end all wars
We have heard it all before

Eternal struggle
The battle fought within
You wage a war
From the inside
They try to blind
Your eyes with their sight
Will you, not stand
For yourself?

The truth falls silent
Upon the damned

--------------------------------------------------------------
"Deserve To Hate"

If everything happens for a reason
Then why the fuck did I have to meet you?
Guilty of the highest treason
Your crimes shall not have ME CONSUMED

ALL that I have
YOU try to take
I won't give up
I'll stand in your way

ALL that you are
I deserve to hate
I won't give up
I'LL stand in your way

PUSH
FORWARD FOR
NO ONE BUT
MYSELF

I've ripped out my (I've ripped out my)
own heart to save you the
SPITE

I've ripped out my (I've ripped out my)
own heart to renew my
INSIDES

ALL that I have
YOU try to take
I won't give up
I'll stand in your way

ALL that you are
I deserve to hate
I won't give up
I'LL stand in your way

(Clean break)

ALL that I have
YOU try to take
I won't give up
I'll stand in your way

ALL that you are
I deserve to hate
I won't give up
I'LL stand in your way

MY VOICE REFLECTS
ALL THAT I'VE SEEN
NOT ANOTHER
DYING DREAM

Current mood:  handsome

What makes someone consider going to different restaurants? If the person is hungry, why not just go eat at the closest and cheapest place? Many places taste good, and yet people still predict more from their eating experience, which drives them to think and question. How busy will it be? Is it expensive? What specials are on tonight? With every factor in mind, the main deciding factor is environment. Businesses will try to push themselves to the threshold to attract people. The same applies to music.
Take a band, add an audience, add a venue, play songs, and you have a show. Is this a good show? Why are concerts called shows now? Why does an artist consider live play a “performance?” Is it just the music that’s entertaining? Can’t a band just appear on stage, play their instruments while sitting down, and leave? A band with amazing music and a shitty performance would not only turn fans away, but possibly start a riot (if I happened to be in the crowd, that is.) The band not only is responsible for the music, but the environment and atmosphere must be provided as well. Many Minneapolians (Minneapolites? Minneapol… you get the point) can listen to music whenever they want, so when they go to a show, they are expecting to experience something different every time.
I know my ranting is scattered everywhere, like a cerebral palsy victim with a paintbrush, but I do have a point. Local Minneapolis band Dying EuForia (… with an “F”) invited Serrated Records to one of their basic practices. Having experienced many practiced rooms before, I was expecting to sit down, crack open a beer from their fridge, and shoot the shit with the band for a few hours. My expectations were wrong. “We like to pretend we’re actually playing a show, haha,” one of the members stated, or, at least I thought it was a joke. Dying EuForia were preparing for their practice session for a few minutes, tuning instruments, warming up, drinking loads of water (not booze,) then began. The lights cut out, dim and decorative lighting turned on, and the first riff cut through the room, followed by a whole set of songs. The practice was just as intense as a show. Head-banging, structured movements, and an energy that kept my neck sore and my eyes wide. Quick water breaks between songs were taken, and some coughing from the sick vocalist Danny Hilman. “Sorry, guys, I’m doing l_e30ce6787f847a8f381ffce4ba71d507my best, but I’ve been sick and my throat is killing me.” Even being ill, he pushed himself to the threshold, and still sounded great. We were very excited about this method of practicing, and were hungry for more. “We do this 3 times a week,” says guitarist and backup vocalist Ryan (Rayne) Zimmerman (left.) I asked if doing this helps Dying EuForia’s live performances. “60% of the time, it works every time! (He jokes.) No, but in all seriousness, one thing my brother/guitar partner (McJeremy) has shown me is, what you practice in rehearsal does reflect on your live performance… I do think people (show audiences) notice when a band absolutely throws down. People do realize efforts.” I have not been fortunate enough to catch one of their shows, but Dying EuForia is preparing for their upcoming show at The Rock Nightclub on April 25th, 2009, with bands Rivkit, A Moment Without, Far Forbidden, and Ill Gotten, which I will write about on a later date. Serrated Records will be attending this night of heavy music. Fuck yes we will. See you in the pits.
Metal needs that type of environment to live. This is the backbone of the iron beast we have created. I’m not saying that most live shows don’t have it, I’m trying to state that it is scarce to find a band that practices with such brutality. Just like competing restaurants, you must step forward to create your own culture, your atmosphere, and your mark on the scene. Bring the blood, sweat, and tears to every rehearsal. Grab your adrenaline and use it to no extent. Take your skills, power, energy, emotions, and use them to push your band to the threshold… and fucking break it.

  Dying Euforia "The Faceless UnKnown"
Current mood:  animated
Category: Music

 http://www.myspace.com/dyingeuforia

Ok first things first.I really like these guys , theyve written a really choice album here that blends the best parts or thrash, progressive and even some screamo all into a nice ball. Jared Ross can change vocal styles which is cool since he's not just a screamer or death metal stylest,he can do the highs and the growls equally well. Ryan Zimmerman and Jeremy Blake have some really nice trade off riffs as well as that old school chug you got with say a Judas Priest or any number of NWOBHM bands as well as classic thrash metal riffing reminicent of 80's thrash bands .Timothy E. Morton does a good job supplying that full sound on bass, the fillin that holds it all togther and doesnt let it escape .

If you read the bands My Space profile you will see they have gone through many lineup changes but seeem settled on the guys they have now.

"Nothing Left" is a thrash lovers type of song , just barrels on through  from beginning to end ."Again" has that good change in vocals I was talking about , along with some good tempo changes in the music . "So Sweet" is a great song that any true metal head would love and is possibly the bands best song. it shows the full range at which they can play.

All in all I can say go support this band and definately add them to your page . Hopefully we'll be hearing more from these guys .

The Faceless Unknown

Nothing more and nothing less, I have left to give
I've given everything I am.
Every time I hope to breathe, the only thing that I think
I hope you're safe and feeling well.
As the sun sets in front of me, every night as I miss,
I miss you standing here in arm...

...cause I am always...

Right in this moment you are my drug to take,
an overdose, a welcome change, break up this monotony.
I am my hope, my self destruction.
An overdose, a welcome change to break up the monotony.

With my head in my hands, I regret to say
we must end this chapter, I must find an ending to this love.

This song is for you, alone it isn't much
I hope it's enough.
Stand alone once again, still we wait for solace.
I wait for you...
...cause I am always...

I am the damage done that dwells within
My only silence it comes
How could this be locked away for the rest of my life?
How could she say it's anything but over?

Right in this moment you are my drug
You are the pain the rules the day.
