So I was driving up 94 north of Hanover the other day and saw a sign for the Salvation Army. Now, I'm not saying charities are bad, or don't support your local charity, but you have to stop and think about this. The sign says, "Doing the Most Good".
Really?
So all those other charities aren't nearly as good as the Salvation Army. Peh, all they do is feed starving children in Africa. The Salvation Army runs little stores where you can get a bad shirt for 25 cents. Top that, other charities! HA! They think they're so good....

Well I finally got my Jeep Wrangler today, and boy do I like it. Pics will follow soon. However, I had to spend an inordinate amount of time at the MVA in Gaithersburg (3 hours, to be exact) because of some issue with previous registrations, which made the day ten times as hellish as it should have been.
MVA sucks. Die.
But all ended well, and I already have permanent plates and paid-up insurance. Now if I can just figure out how all the stuff on it works...
By the way, if anyone's interested in going with me on an off-road adventure in the next few weeks, let me know, I'm thinking of heading up to the trails in Western MD.

I put some dag-gum pictures up for you visual types. No, there aren't any real pictures of me (or any people, for that matter). But at least you can marvel at my god-like photography skills.

I ran a 10k race yesterday. For you kids who don't go to school and can't convert metric, that's 6.4 miles. HA! I ran 8 miles to school when I was a kid, and 12 miles home! Well, you might be wonderin how I did, so I'm gonna tell ya. I was a little embarassed. I sauntered across the finish line just over 58 minutes after I started. Shoot. I might as well a crawled the goddang 6.4 miles.
