sorry I haven't taken that shit off my page, but due to bad business I am no longer at $2 Tuesdays at the Libra, I'm sure this was just an oversight by new people, since I've been assured I wasn't the problem. I was loyal to the event and promoted it. I wish them the best of luck, but King Sh*t will be moving to another, much better location TBA later this week. Well with both of the giants Myspace and Facebook (I sign in to these daily still) in decline due to people over-promoting. The trend is moving to twitter.
No pages loading slow, no music to fight through, no event invitations and messages to delete. Twitter is the next step in social networking, one of the only spots in life where everyone agrees less is more.
Beware overpromoters, be on your best behavior because its much easier to get blocked on Twitter. Plus, your actual social networking skills are put to the test, and sometimes improved, with interacting correctly in the Twitterverse. That's right pimp, bullsh*tin' gets you nowhere, and in some cases, called out.
The most important part of its predecessors was the status updates, in my opinion, and that's the meat of the whole Twitter experience.
Twitter's is also in front of the pack with its applications that help you manage your tweets. There is a suitable application for most smartphones (twitterberry for the BB, and TwitterFon for iPhone), and for your desktop laptop (TweetDeck, Twhirl).
