Hey everyone,

We're going to be playing live on 98 KUPD this Sunday, December 2, on "the Lopsided World of L."

Tune in to the show at 7 pm!

If you're not in the Phoenix metro area, you can stream the show live from their website, www.98kupd.com.

We hope you'll listen and tell us what you think!

Once you have been tagged, you have to write a blog with 10 weird, random things, facts, habits, or goals about yourself.

At the end, choose 10 people to be tagged, listing their names and why you chose them. Don't forget to leave them a comment telling them that they are "it" and to read your blog to see why.

You can't tag the person who tagged you. Since you can't tag me back, let me know when you've posted your blog so I can see your answers.

well, here you go, 10 weird/random things about myself (just 10? har har). anyone can do this if they are so inclined; i have a headache and don't feel like tagging people.

1. i can't sleep unless i'm covered with something relatively heavy. even in the summer i need a light blanket over my sheet.

2. the style of my handwriting correlates to my state of mind. when i'm having a bad day it is small and precise; when i'm feeling okay, it's larger and rounder.

3. i am a published artist - although not how you'd think.  i created molecular models for 2 chemistry textbooks, one of them using 3d techniques so they would work with those red/blue 3d glasses. it was a great gig for a college student; paid well and i worked on my own time. too bad it was contract work.

4. the older i get, the smaller my feet become. i buy shoes a full size smaller now than i did in high school.

5. same thing with fingers - my wedding and engagement rings are a full size smaller than my high school class ring, despite the fact that i was much thinner back then.

6. i can't bear throwing things away. i'm always convinced that we'll need it later (and i'm frequently right, so there). i'm getting better about it in my old age though.

7. i have a photographic memory.

8. i have no goals or ambitions. i don't know what i want to be when i grow up.

9. i remember my dreams. it's not as great as you would think, since they're almost all nightmares.

10. my earliest memories are from when i was 2 years old. i remember quite a lot of stuff from that time.

there you go! i'm off to nurse my headache.

Lots of stuff has been happening on the Reliquary front, which i will describe in great detail in a moment, and we need your help, so please read this whole thing and feel free to pass it along to anyone who you think may be interested.

1. Reliquary is playing a free show at the Mesa, AZ Atomic Comics on Saturday, February 17 in honor of their grand re-opening. It happens to also be Fright Night III and will feature Calabrese, Family Secret, and the Limit Club as well as your favorite Reliquary, and also tarot, magic, and assorted other fun stuff. Click for flyer. We'll go on at 6 pm and we'll be premiering a brand new song from our upcoming album, Path of Hours!

2. Reliquary and our awesome labelmate &Aacute Rebours are opening for Voltaire at the Sets in Tempe, AZ on Thursday, February 22! Tickets are $15 at the door. Click for flyer. We'll be premiering 2 new songs at this show!

3. Pending final contract signage, Reliquary will be performing at the Convergence 13 pre-party! It's Thursday, May 24 in Portland, OR. If you have a laminate for Convergence, this event will be free; otherwise it's only $7 at the door.

4. Reliquary has been invited to perform at Wave Gotik Treffen in Leipzig, Germany! We'll be playing on Saturday, May 26 at the Parkb&uumlhne stage and having a meet-&-greet at the Black Rain booth in the AGRA hall.

So here's the thing. We're trying to organize a small west coast tour to get us from Phoenix to Portland, the week before Convergence. If you are a promoter or know someone who is a promoter in San Francisco or Seattle or any city between here and there and you'd like to book Reliquary, please let us know!

Also, it's really quite expensive to fly to Leipzig and, let's face it, we're a poor indie band. So we have a proposition for you: make a donation to Reliquary, and in exchange we will record our Portland and Leipzig shows and let you download them. It's like you're bootlegging but proceeds go right to the band! :P

Here's a link to our website with a PayPal donation button:

In the unlikely event that you happen to have an excess of frequent flyer miles or a free airline ticket that you won't use before June, we'd gratefully accept that too - in fact, i'm sure you'd get a big Reliquary care package in addition to our undying gratitude. ;)

Thanks for reading this. Reliquary loves you.
