We are very proud to present, in conjunction with Mesmeric Music...

Jonathan Richman plus support
All Saints Church, Newcastle
Friday 13th October 8pm
Tickets £12 + stbf, £14 door

Jonathan Richman is rock's undisputed eccentric and unpredictable cult figure; a performer who's eternally childlike public persona and naiveté - typified by songs like "Roadrunner," "Ice Cream Man," "Hey There Little Insect" and "I'm a Little Aeroplane" - obscured the dexterity and craft of his music, which ranged from garage rock, to country and Latino and back. One of the most literate and doggedly non-conformist veterans of the 70s New Wave scene (and arguably the man responsible for kick-starting it), he continues to defy expectations to this day.

A rare opportunity to catch this legendary figure.

Tickets available from RPM, Steel Wheels, alt-vinyl and Reflex in Newcastle or email banoffee@blueyonder.co.uk
