Current mood:Appreciative

In the February 2007 "hearts and roses issue" of Motif Magazine, the Danger Danger Birds were honored to to be included among some of Rhode Island's "Sweethearts of the Stage," such as Josie Crosby and Tracy Garrity (once Rebecca Nurse, now the Radionics), in a cover feature written by Jim Vickers.

Of the Danger Danger Birds, Vickers wrote:

"This burlesque troupe, some may say, seems off track amongst a cover photo of female singers and songwriters.  Not so.  The Danger, Danger Birds have added a dimension to the local rock scene taking it to another level.

Their sultry dressed performance raises the bar on the rock scene with movement and style, turning shows into colorful, sexy rock operas.  They've been embraced by venues and bands such as Ocean Mist, Century Lounge, Tazza Caffe, taking the stage with up-and-coming band Viennagram and others."

Thank you, Motif!
