THE "SHARKS vs. KINGS TOUR" 2009

One of Germanys most uprising bands in melodic hardcore, SO FAR AWAY, is now ready to hit the road again. After a six month break of playing shows the five guys are more passionate then ever. Unique Songwriting and an energetic Stage performance, that is what SO FAR AWAY stands for.


Powerful, emotional and aggressive riffing, this is the world of TOGETHER. A group of hardcore kids which is definitely one of the best at its style in Germany. They come with desperate lyrics matched with a driving sound to burn down your stage.

Die Guideline Demo Series ist eine nette Idee. Das Label bringt hier professionell produzierte und aufgemachte Demos von jungen, aufstrebenden Bands für wenig Asche unter die Leute. Diese Ehre haben auch So Far Away aus Aschaffenburg - welche diese Chance allemal verdient haben. Die jungen Herren liefern auf "All Alone" eine wunderbare Abwechslung zum üblichen Bollo-Hardcore-Einheitsbrei. SO FAR AWAY geben sich melodisch, positiv und - für ein Debüt - erstaunlich technisch versiert. Ohne irgendwelches TOUGH GUY Gehabe gehen die fünf Songs auf All Alone in bester Stretch Arm Strong Manier straight in your face. Einziges Manko: Die fetten Backup Vocals trösten nicht ganz über den teilweise etwas flachbrüstigen Gesang hinweg. Aber daran kann man arbeiten - ist ja schließlich ein Erstlingswerk. Durchaus sympathisch ist übrigens auch, dass die Jungs trotz ihres genussmittelfreien Lebensstils die Straight Edge Keule in der Hose lassen. Man darf also gespannt auf das ersehnte Album warten (KJ) 10/15 Punkten
