Random Town Tuesday 124
Channel Frederator Blog

Mar 18th

http://www.channelfrederator.com/episode/CFR_20080318
Today, we enter the realm of Random Town Tuesday. A quaint, residential area of another dimension completely randomized. The inhabitants live randomly, walk randomly, speak randomly, and eat randomly. They even watch cartoons randomly!
We have received a video transmission via satellite of their alternate version of Channel Frederator, called Channel Randomator.

--- Little Buzzers in "Random Gibberish", submitted by GoogleFraser Agar
Boy, these little buzzers buzz more than the teachers in a Charlie brown cartoon stuck in an 8 bit dimension. And it’s cute. And Funny. So Funny. And Evil. So Evil.

--- Mountain Town, submitted by James McCarthy
This is everything Waking Life could’ve been. By that I mean, not annoying, not too heady, and about a cool 84 year old artist. I’m looking forward to checking out more Mountain Town in the near future.

--- What the Shell?!, submitted by Gabe Swarr
You know what? Gabe Swarr is cool. His version of everyone’s favorite mustachioed, pizza chomping, Italian plumber Mario is even cooler. As this tribute short can attest to.
1 Up Gabe Swarr! 1 Up!

--- Interduvet Yarns, submitted by Liam Brazier
Friend of Frederator Liam Brazier is back with a very cool and dreamy music video for the band Hibernation. Makes me want to curl up under my desk and take a nap.

This Thursday on The Meth Minute 39 Dan wrangles up another Space Cowboy.

Randomly Yours,
- Jeaux Janovsky

Cool things We’ve been Eyeing on the Web Lately:
Play Value. The Fall of Atari. It’s like VH1’s I love the 80s, but about video games.

Pixeloo’s Super REAL Mario. Don’t open this. It’s like staring into the eye’s on King Tut. I think it’ll place an ancient curse on you.

Cristina Aguilera’s Spawn has this Donkey Kong inspired re-interpretation of Da-Vnci’s Last Supper hanging up in it’s baby nursery.

Speaking of DK, Ultra Kawaii’s Stunt Kitty Series by Ben Ross goes Kong also.

Here's a bit about Dan Meth:
Dan Meth was born in 1977 in the suburbs of New York City. Within a few hours he was drawing. From then on he obsessively absorbed every form of cartoon he could lay his eyes on.
Meth studied illustration at Syracuse University where he drew a daily comic strip from 1995-1999. In the weeks before graduation, Meth sold a few hundred copies of "Methology", a self-published collection of all four years of comics. He has become one of the internet's better known go-to guy for funny viral web cartoons. Whether it's an client commissioned ad or a just a personal short film, Dan Meth's films get attention and traffic. He's been featured in The Daily News, TimeOut NY, Entertainment Weekly, Tech TV, NY1, and Howard Stern.
In 2006, Dan Meth joined Fred Seibert's Frederator Studios to help develop new cartoons. His first original series, The Meth Minute 39 (www.methminute39.com), debuts on Channel Frederator, Thursday, September 6, 2007.

Man, I love this Myspace thing. Although it is hard to type with such huge, metallic fingers. I wish work would buy me a Me-Size gigantic Laptop. Mine is a regular human sized one. Laaame.
Anyway, I had a good weekend. I chilled at home watching robot movies. I have a built in dvd player in the back of my head, so when I pop in a dvd it gets projected on the back of my glasses. It's awesome being a robot.
I guess in human terms, my glasses lenses are the size of huge movie screens. It rocks.

I also saw this cool trailer the other day, I think it's the new film by JJ Abrams, the creator of LOST, one of the coolest shows out there right now. It looks amazing. Here's a link:NEW MOVIE BY JJ Abrams!

3 things you should look at on my Frederator Blogs People!!! (Leave comments on each if you can!!!)
The humanoid Jeaux, pretty cool guy (you should all add him), is blogging his little tail off. (he doesn't really have a tail, but I like working with him) ;)
I kid Jeaux (if you are reading this!)

Eric Homan, my partner in crime on Channel Frederator, and I were chatting a few days ago discussing Channel Frederator Episode 85.
The conversation went something like this:

Eric: So, I feel pretty good about this episode.
Jeaux: Yea, it's gonna be a great one.
Eric: Yea.
Jeaux: Lots of different types of films in this one, both in style, tone, stories.
Eric: True that.
Jeaux: It's like...
Eric: ...
Jeaux: It's like...
Eric: ...
Jeaux: It's like a potpourri of animation.
Eric: Exactly! That should be the title of your next new newsletter!!!
Jeaux: You think so?
Eric: ...yea.
Jeaux: ok.

I took the liberty of embellishing the conversation a tiny bit, and for the record, I've never once have heard nor seen Eric type the phrase, "True That". I took complete creative comedy license for that.
So, yea.
Episode 85:
A Potpourri of Animation Goodness
I'd like to take this time to personally thank Filippo, Fabio, Juan, Dek, Liam, Russ, and Cristina for submitting such a wonderful batch of Fragrant Animated Aromas.

---Page d'Ecriture, Submitted by Filippo Giacomelli, Fabio Tonetto, and Juan Francisco Correa Diaz.
Holy Crap, did I ever hate Math class. I hated it. With a Passion. I was never a tiny mathematician, and boy, it would've been so cool if a tiny cute little pink animated bird could've saved me for that one vital hour of death. Great film guys.

---Balloon, Submitted by Liam Brazier.
I bet Balloon Animals everywhere are hiding in fear because of this film. Liam is a comedic genius.
This is awesome.

---Odd from Every Angle, Submitted by Russ Etheridge.
Have you ever been so drunk that you start seeing robots and clowns? Russ shows us pieces of the blackouts we might not remember. It's a pretty inventive piece of multimedia animation.

---Rid, Submitted by Cristina Paulos.
Never stand in the way of a demented little girl who just wants to splash in the rain puddles and hang out with cute deformed little worms. And NEVER eat those worms. Cristina shows us why.

Current mood:Meh.
I haven't heard from a lot of you in awhile.
You don't call or write me anymore. I'm beginning to think you all don't love me like you used to.
Remember the good times we used to have?
or how bout that time we went rollerskating and they didn't have my Robot Footsize, so the manager had to strap Subway Cars to my feet?
Those were the days, I miss those.
It's hard when you're a gigantic Red Robot, but sometimes, ya just gotta make due.
I bet you haven't even seen my newest Channel Frederator Vid... I'm up to #79 now. Yup.
I'm slimmer than the last time y'all saw me too!
How bout that, eh?
So come on. Show me some love again. Like the old days?
Here's where you can reach me, no matter what time...
I will always be here FOR YOU
Always Yours,
Ch. Freddington
