Artist: Pisstank Title: Ravecore Anthems Cat: DSR25 / VROCK012 Release Date: 7/05/07 Get Ravecore Antems @ DSWAT.net!!!Pisstank has been releasing tracks since 1999, firstly Amiga-core fury for labels like Kool.Pop, 555 Recordings and Wabana.Ore. After taking a break for a few years to run the fantastic Irritant Records label (whose release roster has included the talents of Knifehandchop, Donna Summer, Kid606, DJ Scud, Hecate and many more) where he was supposed to release "Drunk on Cock", which then morphed into "Very Pleasure" by our main man Duran Duran Duran. But in addition to running this most fantastic of record labels, he also made extreme breakcore nosie shit for years and years before that. He returns in 2007 with a new line in ravecore. On the A side "Punching" delivers a solid ravecore anthem, melting happy hardcore with gabber kicks and amen licks. Lightas at the ready…this one has been ripping up dancefloors on dubplate for a year now, and finally gets unleashed on the world. On the flip we get "Fucked", a classic slice of breakcore mashup, blending synthy rave stabs with tight vocals and even a bit of klesmar thrown in for good measure. But wait, the party isn't over yet, there's still "Bassbins"; an anthem so damn heavy you won't know what's hit you. This one must be heard to be believed!!! This is a joint release with Jason Forrest's world renowned Cock Rock Disco label. Cut in the UK for maximum dance floor pressure! Tracklist: A1. PunchingB1. FuckedB2. Artist: Soundbites Title: The Soundbites Experience Cat: DSR22 Release Date: 5/02/07 Get The Soundbites Experience @ DSWAT.net!!!Soundbites brings a 4 track absolutely ravetastic 12" to Death$ucker Records. The Prodigy mash-up extravaganza, absolutely illegal and forbidden...the way we like it!!! Soundbites (aka Robert van Loghem) started out as a drum and bass DJ / producer together with his long-time friend DJ Westrum. It seemed these two were inseparable when they started listening to the pirate radio station XTC in the early 90's. They bought hardcore and rave records and trashed a lot of family turntables trying to build up their DJ skills. After a quiet period of about three years, they got infected with LTJ Bukem's "Logical Progression" and started buying drum and bass records. Slowly they worked their way up, first with their own night "Zeist", but later on playing at various happenings in Utrecht (NL). Soundbites and Westrum were then hosts at the biggest monthly drum and bass night in the Netherlands "Structure" @ Tivoli. Soundbites is into breakcore, electro, IDM, Prodigy, Madonna…."it's all lovely to muck around with". This is Soundbites' first vinyl release, and Death$ucker is delighted to have him on board. Artist: DJ C Title: Sonic Weapons EP Cat: DSR23 Release Date: 7/05/07 Get Sonic Weapons EP @ DSWAT.net!!!DJ C continues to drop his mashed up mix of hip-hop, bashment, grime, bounce, jungle, rock, folk, bhangra, dub-step and just about everything else at parties, clubs, and events worldwide. In 2003 he began the Mashit record label with a 12-inch featuring one of his rough-and-rugged-ragga tracks along-side an Aaron Spectre remix. It sold out within weeks of it's release. The next 5 Mashit 12-inches also featured DJ C material, and they've been killing dance-floors and airwaves across the globe. Legendary BBC Radio One host John Peel (R.I.P.) chose Mashit as a "label of the month" in October 2004. The records have also been receiving airplay on other BBC shows, in addition to shows on London's Resonance FM, and Ninja Tune's syndicated Solid Steel show. He's been hard at work producing beats and remixes for other labels as well. His mix of the M.I.A. tune U.R.A.Q.T., was released on her Galang '05 single by XL Recordings, and his mixes of the tune Gone A Jail, by reggae legend Gregory Isaacs, were recently released on Kid 606's Tigerbeat6 sub-label Shockout. His last release for Death$ucker (DSR14) was a solid 3 track EP of what can only be discribed as "Boston-bounce", a style pioneered by DJ C himself. His latest 12-inch features some tracks from the vault and a few new joints. On the A side we have "Who Wah Seek Yo"; the infamous, until now unreleased bluegrass-core tune, with it's killer banjo licks. Following that is LXC's remix of the same tune, taking crystal clean drum & bass and giving the hillbilly treatment. On the B side "Come Back Version" is another track from the DJ C vaults, this time cutting up jungle beats with large doses of reggae and dancehall thrown in for good measure. "Gi Mi Di Break" is a short track which would work well as a DJ tool. "It Gets Worse" is a bass-heavy downtempo number, delving into the murky dubstep genre, and features the world-renowned thereminist Pamelia Kurstin. Cut in the UK for maximum dance floor pressure! Tracklist: A1. Who Wah Seek YoA2. Who Wah Seek Yo (LXC's Whoo Hoo Mix)B1. Come Back VersionB2. Gi Mi Di BreakB3. It Gets Worse (edit ft. Pamelia Kurstin)More about LXC: LXC is the man when it comes to hardcore drum'n'bass and weird electronics. Hailing from Leipzig, Germany, he started making electronic music back in 1993 and has since made it to release tracks on labels such as Phantomnoise and Santorin. In 2003, his Alphacut Records imprint took off, hittin you with extreme d&b, breakcore, idm and further trash. FFI: www.dj-c.comwww.deathsucker.orgwww.bristolbreakcore.com

Monkey Steak, the electronica duo comprised of Hanuman and Atki2 (Shadetek, Combat) were formed in New Cross, South London in October 2000. Initially Monkey Steak pursued the drum and bass / jungle vibe with tunes such as "Shiva Las Vegas2, a rinsing dnb blast which is still a firm crowd favourite and "Jamaican Girl Style" a classic ragga / jungle cut. Since then they have diversified their sound quite considerably and now mix up a variety of styles including dub, ragga, hip-hop, 2step, grime, as well as more eclectic styles like funk, soul, bhangra, and rave. Monkey Steak's exploration of garage and grime has been an important step in the development of the Steak Beat sound and has led to the first Monkey Steak release, Grim Dubs 01 released on Werk discs.
The A side of the "Electric Birdland EP" features two tracks of jungle sweetness; "Too Late" and "Toxic RIP VIP", the later a tribute to the late Toxic Dancehall (probably the UK's best ever breakcore party!). The B side is a more 2 step garage / grime flavoured affair; "Black Milk" and "Gaza Stripclub" have Monkey Steak flexing their bass muscles, proving that its not all about junglism. The release also features superb artwork by my bro John, check his stuff out at www.johnepainter.com. "Electric Birdland" will be having it's very own launch party at the next GoatLab on Friday 1st December @ Timbuk 2 (Bristol), where Monkey Steak will be performing a special live set. Limited to 500 copies Worldwide! Cut in the UK for maximum dance floor pressure! Monkey Steak featured on the now sold out DSR11 featuring remixes with Death$ucker boss Parasite. They have also been remixed by the likes of DJ Pinch (Tectonic / Dubloaded) for a recent 12" release on Bristol Dubstep label Punch Drunk. Tracklist: A1. Too Late A2. Toxic RIP VIP B1. 'The Flood' is a collaboration between Bristol-based DIY rhythm fiends Big Joan and a bunch of lunatics who were invited to abuse their master tapes. The EP includes the first two new studio tracks from Big Joan since 2004. The title track 'Here Comes The Flood' is a relentless, pounding, dancehall-inspired groove which builds towards a climax of apocalyptic noise and rampant dustbin percussion. 'The Sucker's Bug', meanwhile, is a fast, furious, twisted punk rock belter that's been a crowd-pleaser at the band's live shows for nearly two years. In both cases, the band sound noisier, more urgent and yet more strangely danceable than ever. Originally planned as a 7" single between albums, 'The Flood' got completely out of hand when the band asked a few of their favourite artists to have a go at remixing it. The resulting shitstorm is the work of at least thirteen different people. While MAIOF (My Ambulance Is On Fire), Shitmat (Wrong Music / Planet-Mu), Twocsinak (Wrong Music) and sax legend Terry Edwards take turns to pound the two original tracks into new and disorientating shapes, others take on the Big Joan back catalogue with equal disrespect. Bronnt Industries Kapital reinvent 'Waiting For Nine' as a hypnotic trance-rock gem while the mighty Parasite (Death$ucker) gives 'Tiger' a new set of teeth and the filthy rave remix it always secretly wanted. With nods to dubstep, breakcore, riot-pop, ambient dub, Tony Hancock and The Velvet Underground, the resulting EP is eccentric, screwed up, good old fashioned extreme fun throughout. Also available as a CD single on Blood Red Sounds (coming soon to DSWAT) comprising the MAIOF, Shitmat and Parasite mixes alongside the original version of 'Here Comes The Flood', it is available at all Big Joan gigs as well as online at www.dswat.net and www.bloodredsounds.co.uk and righteous record shops. Death$ucker Press Release Artists: Knifehandchop & Parasite Title: Get Yourself Ready Cat: DSR14 Release Date: 27/4/06 Quantity: 500 Knifehandchop needs no introductionbut here goes anyway;) Knifehandchop's music is hard to describe because of the huge variety of influences and styles he pulls together, although none of these ever seem out of place in the mix. Each release is refreshing and different from the last, largely due to the diverse musical elements he uses; ragga, techno, hardcore, hip-hop and electro all make an appearance. When he plays live, he focuses mostly on the most dancefloor-killing material he has, to try to turn any bar or club into a full-on rave. He has had music released on Tigerbeat6, Irritant, Ad Noiseam, Very Friendly and now Death$ucker. Parasite is the owner and manager of Death$ucker Records and DSWAT.net. He promoted and smashed up the dancefloors at Toxic Dancehall, and has had music released on Clash, Damage, Peace Off, and Audio Chocolate. Thank fuck hes finally got off his arse to write some tunes! On the A side Knifehandchop takes on a straight-up 4-to-the-floor hardcore flavour, chopping beats in his original style. On the flip Parasite drops a pill and gets all raved up, with synth stabs and bass kicks flying in all directions. Tracklist: A1. Knifehandchop - Get Yourself Ready A2. Knifehandchop - Deinze-Gent Trainwreck B1. Parasite - Hater Want War B2.
