Just got the final confirmation that I'll the doing the gig poster for The Apples In Stereo show in St. Louis at Blueberry Hill's Duck Room.

My biggest/highest profile project to date for sure. The posters will be limited edition hand screenprinted (by me) masterpieces (I hope). We'll have them available for sale at the show and likely online in the very near future (the show is on the 19th!)

Off to design this bad boy. Wish me luck!

Eh, lame I know - but it's the first earthquake lyric that came to mind...and give me a break - I'm a little *shook up*! Har har.

What a ride! Who wouldathunkit that we'd have an earthquake in Illinois?! Woke me up out of a dead sleep in the middle of the night, I tell you what.

Current mood:  disappointed
Well, after enduring several weeks of greuling social pressures I finally gave in yesterday morning and shaved of my glorious mustache. Two solid months of patience gone right down the drain! Literally.

I guess the world's not ready for it yet. Ahead of my time? Maybe. Oh well, when the Dan Akroyd/drummer for Cheap Trick/70's porn star look finally hits the midwest all youz bitches gonna remember who did it first! Or first again, as it is (if you will). And when that tide finally comes a-rollin' in...gimme 2 months and i'm right there with ya.

At least we have my creepiest set of pictures to date to remember it by.

How many Turbonegro lines can I use as blog titles?! A whole bunch!

Went to DeKalb with Jamie last night to see our beloved Riverboat Gamblers. Damn they good! Best RBG show I've seen in a while. Sound was great. Crowd was better than that at the Creepy Crawl show. Had some Sparks. Had some shots. Had some PBR. Had some good hangouts with Jamie. Had some good hangouts with Ian. Wish we could have stayed and partied but we had to get back for work and whatnot.

Also, just wanted to proclain my disdain for Easter. I hate spring. I hate pastels. I hate excessive amounts of senseless candy. I hate wearing "nice clothes" and going to church. Poop. Least favorite holiday ever.
