so........last weeks gig at the waterfront was rather fun....one of the most energetic crowds yet....davids family showed up and got the party started.....patty dropped davids sticks during the stick toss (no one is perfect you know). All in all it was a fun time but a long day...we played the wings of angels show early in the morning at the speedway.....ugh
this past weekend was a blast too...battle of the bands was fun but mike broke a string on the first song...imagine that! Regardless, saturday was great.....we got there early and the day was beautiful. The crowd was smaller than we were told, but it didn't matter. We played well....got the childrens fund on the tv interview and had a great show....the highlight was the dancing guy with no shirt....i think patty is in love....:)

Dear Fans,
We are at it again. This Friday we play in the second round of the Battle of Birdys competition. It isnt often that a country band makes it this far, so we need all your support to keep us going in this. So make sure to be at Birdys this Friday to cast your vote. We go on stage at 8:30!
Also visit this site and vote for Ari-West in the best local band and best country band categories for Indianapolis: http://www.nuvo.net/bestof Support our buddies Austin Bridges too by voting for them as best rock band, and feel free to support your favorite restaurant or other local business, its kinda fun.
And finally, this Saturday we are playing at HANK FMs Advantage Health Sky Concert at White River Park in Indianapolis. Start the party early with us at 4:00.
Lets get the party started!

So.....we have added a new bass player Ed....and we just recorded "Let's get the party started" for 97.1 HANKFM......It sounds great. We played it without a click....we have made huge strides. Ed had heard the song like 4 times and then laid down a perfect track...with two bad fingers. Ninja is excited to play with a new bass player with such groove...watch out folks! We are preparing for our two gigs this Saturday (Wings of Angels Sat. morning and the Waterfront in the evening.) Both should be good gigs....next week is the skyconcert - that will be fun.... In other news, David managed to get a girlfriend. We are all proud of him - someone actually puts up with him........hahahaha

Well, we just finished our three gig weekend - whew...talk about tiring...Thursday night, July 20th we performed to a fun crowd at Moon Dog Tavern, only to head to Verizon Wireless Music Center the next day to play at the VIP stage for Brooks & Dunn. In that show, we were spared the terrible weather - the monsoon half an hour before we started scared us:) At the actual show, Patty managed to get on the video screen which brought her great joy:) The next night, we played to a mellow crowd at the Waterfront in Cicero. Rehearsals have been getting stronger and better as we go - this past Saturday we also played a private party for Robbie, for his father's retirement party. We managed through the show, despite our equipment having some serious problems (monitor issues...uggh). This week we are off, but we're back in the saddle August 13 for the Ambassadors for Children Passport Celebration...and then we have a doubleheader on August 26th.... September is packed, but look for a few new songs to our setlist.....

If you missed the festival you missed .....concerts from Brooks and Dunn, Pat Green, Sara Evans, Hank Williams Jr., Trisha Yearwood (she's a keeper, elegant, breathtaking), Trace Adkins (swing batter, batter, swing batter batter, swing batter batter swing, his new single not sure how I feel about it), Montgomery Gentry, Terri Clark, Janson Aldean, Wynonna, Billy Currington, Carrie Underwood (sang her heart out but her band volume was up too high, couldn't hear it), Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride (a stellar performance!! she totally nailed it), Josh Turner, Brad Paisley, Craig Morgan (if he can show up and be on stage with crutches whatis your excuse for not being there?!!!!) Maybe your'e scared of the dark or don't stay up late and party all night ....ok try the Greased Lightning daytime stages at Riverfront Park. Too many to mention here except for my personal favorites; Darryl Worley and Steve Azar.....you missed it ......BUY YOUR TICKETS NOW FOR NEXT YEAR....make it a family thing or a by yourself thing ....BUT JUST DO IT!!! And by the way we even saw Mel Tillis at Tootsies when we stopped by to perform ..... you just never know who you are gonna run into ....see ya there nexy year!!
