In case you haven't heard...here's what's going on with all the 6gig dudes. Weave is singing and playing guitar in a band he started called Rulers of the Raging Main. Very cool. Kinda garage/stoner rock. Sort of like Burning Brides, Danko Jones, or a bit like Fu Manchu. Jason and Steve have been putting together a new band with Todd Dadelares...formerly of Mercy. And if you remember, Todd was the original singer for twitchboy. The new band is called tDADA (the t is silent). You can be on the look out for their website soon. Jason wins the prize for busiest dude....He's also joined a band from Boston called MataHari. He's described it as sounding like a cross between Garbage and Orgy. Girl fronted electro-rock. You can check out http://www.mataharirocks.com to see what's going on there. AND he's also been playing shows and recording with Nigel Hall...local R&B sensation. I've started a new band called Lost on Liftoff...we've been recording a bunch of music we have close to 9 or 10 songs recorded and a bunch of shit that's written that we're waiting to record...and we're gearing up to play some shows. Our first Portland show is Sept. 22 @ The Big Easy (55 Market St. Portland. 21 )....with Loverless (it's their CD Release Party). We're also playing Sept. 23 @ The Deering Grange hall w/ Headstart, Billy Libby, and Third Floor View. This is an all ages show. Sept. 30th @ The Hog's Trough Saloon in Manchvegas.... And for any fans of Goud's Thumb...we're doing a reunion show Friday Sept. 16 @ The Big Easy (55 Market St. Portland). This is going to be fun....we'll be playing a bunch of newer stuff that never got released. W/ Cosades. 21+
