Hey everyone, I wanted to share with you what I have been up to. I went to Vegas with my good friend Lorrie Morgan her friend and T.G. to watch the premier of "Deal" starring Burt Reynolds and Shannon"Dancing with the stars" Elizabeth.

I was fortunate to have written 3 songs for the soundtrack...you can hear, and purchase them on itunes

Hi Kelly Lang friends. If you didn’t get a chance to see this, there is a full page photo and article about Kelly in the Sumner Lifestyles Magazine in yesterday’s Tennessean. Well, my wedding date is quickly arriving.August 20 is the big day. We are having a sunset wedding at a friend's home on the lake. Kind of small ceremony, just family and some friends. I have been very busy with last minute details, and will be moving this week. Sorry I haven't been on line much lately. I am very excited to be marrying my best friend. For any of you country music fans, you may know my future husband as T G Sheppard.We will be in the Sept. issue of Country Weekly in our new kitchen doing a cooking segment if you are interested.

Hi everyone, just a quick note to let you know that wedding bells are going to be ringing in Aug. We plan to be married in a private ceremony at a friend's home on the lake at sunset....and I wanted to take this time to apologize for not taking the time to write back to each of you, my friends ,individually, but you can not imagine what all I have been doing...from moving T.G. into our new home, planning the wedding, writing songs, singing my own concert schedule, and planning my own move to my dream home. I am currently taking a few days off to go to the beach for some much needed Rand R....and just now able to catch my breath long enough to blog. Hope everyone is doing great. Thank you to those who have sent well wedding wishes. I am very very excited to say I Do.

My new album is HERE!

Jagged Edges

I am so excited but not just because my album is finished. I am finally going to realize one of my long-time dreams and will make my debut appearance at the Grand Ole Opry on Friday, April 27 at 8 p.m. I hope all of you who live in the Nashville area will be able to come. I would love to see you there!!!

There are seventeen songs on my album. I titled it "Jagged Edges" because it is what we refer to in the music business as "rough cuts." These songs were recorded just as you would hear them live; no studio tweaking, just me and the musicians having a great time. I'm really proud of this project and I hope you like it and don't be shy about giving me some feedback. I appreciate your comments.

I wrote six of the songs myself and on the eleven others I collaborated with my good friends Lorrie Morgan and Mark Oliverius.

You will hear the song "Im Not Going Anywhere" in the upcoming Burt Reynold's movie "Deal" due out in August.
