Altitude is a live version of one of the tracks from my cd.
Old Blood is a track I like to use to finish off a gig, watch out for the beat juggling after a minute or 2.

I've been searching through my music past again, for friends who only know my recent work this may come as a surprise.
The Hank Quinlan Quartet was a regular gigging band in the late 80's early 90's. Artistically successful, they played original compositions and totally confounded some of the smallest audiences in musical history. With no regular chord instrument, and a penchant for unusual meters performed with sudden edit changes there were far from what was to be expected for a Norwich based combo. Line up was Andy Lincoln on drums, Rick Southwood and Dave Pullin on saxes and Andy Butler on electric bass.
I have enough of the material in the 4-track archives for a couple of cds, so who knows, one day an appreciative fan base may be found.

Just finished editing an old track for your entertainment, "Star Trek on 45" was done back in the early 80's, when there was a series of disco remixes called "Stars on 45", and the classic Star Trek episodes were re-shown endlessly.
This was from before the days of sampling, so all the vocal performances were tracked in from a cassette deck. Kirk, Spock & Scotty are on fine form, and it's not hard to guess which episodes are involved, although I only picked dialog based on it's sonic appeal and rhythmic integrity.
I recorded all instruments onto an old TEAC 4-Track, including a home built synthesiser and the cheapest drum machine in the world. Recently I transfered the 4 track master to hard disk for editing and mixing, although all the sounds heard are unaltered from their original low budget glory.
