** Vive La Fête goes back to Brazil, twice **

This is the third time VLF heads for Brazil.

In 2004 they played in Natal and in Recife, were they were the only band ever to have played 2 shows at the highly appreciated Abril Pro Rock festival.

In 2006 they returned to Brazil and played in Sao Paulo 2 sold-out shows in one of the hippest clubs and did lots of promo incl TV shows and a photo shoot for Playboy Brazil.  

This time they return in October to play 4 shows in 4 different cities and more to come!

But before starting the tour with the band, Danny & Els are invited to Sao Paulo in September for a photo shoot for the new publicity campaign of a Brazilian brand of sunglasses. Soon Danny&Els will be seen all over Brazil on posters, in shops, in magazines and newspapers, on the internet etc !

Vive La Fête loves Brazil, and the Brazilians love VLF !

and the best news is that Danny & Els will use the cold & dark European winter months to write new songs for a brand new album, coming up in 2009!!

** SCANDINAVIAN TOUR

After a really successful tour in August last year, VLF returns to Scandinavia in March to rock the clubs. We know that Scandinavians love to party, we look forward to be back! Join us in Copenhagen, Stockholm, Aarhus, Malmo or Gotheborg. 

 ** SUMMER FESTIVAL ***

The first big summer festival is confirmed ! On Sunday 20 July VLF will play their exuberant live show at the highly appreciated Spanish festival BENICASSIM. Other confirmed artists on the bill include : My Bloody Valentine, Siouxsie, Babyshambles, The National and many, many more tbc.

** JOUR DE CHANCE IN OTHER COUNTRIES **

In January the album Jour De Chance was released in Germany and in February it will be released in Italy and more countries will follow!

Other international releases so far include Japan, Canada, Spain, Portugal, France, Switzerland, Brazil, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and the Benelux.

** VLF on TV **

This week Vive La Fête can be seen on Belgian national television at least twice!

On 14 February in the cultural program Lux XL, as favourite band of world famous Belgian art-designer Arne Quinze. (check him out : www.quinzeandmilan.tv)

In honour of their famous fan, Danny & Els will do a special, acoustic version (Danny on piano!) of one of their new songs, Mira.

And on 15 February Danny&Els participate in the song contest 'Zo is er maar Een', where they will do a cover of 'Stroom', a song from Belgian rock band Arbeid Adelt around Marcel Vanthilt (Els singing in Dutch!).
