HS Bhajan's San Jose Da Munda video.

Personal Message from Lorna, San Jose Punjabi Mela Committee, sponsorships:

Hi!

If any of you might know of any company or business that wants to advertise --- in the 10 minutes advertising segment in the DVD itself --- to the Indo-American market, please let me know asap. 15-second and 30-second spots are available.

Here's the complete text I sent to my friends.

This is awesome! Introducing my next project (a DVD movie --- a Punjabi film comedy --- with soft launch tentatively scheduled for June 24) wherein I'm looking for advertisers (to be featured in the DVD as well) here in the US and Canada. The music video in this bulletin, from concept to execution, was produced and directed by my friend, Jaskaran (Jas) S. Sahota, of Bridgepoint Entertainment. Done Bollywood-style, Jas is "the boyfriend" in the video. He is also my fellow committee member of the 2007 San Jose Punjabi Mela (Festival) coming up on June 24 at the Evergreen Valley College in San Jose, CA (and I'm also busy looking for festival sponsors)... Enjoy!

You're going to enjoy checking out (and hopefully, booking!) the cheapest internet airfares (or plane tickets, plane fares) to the Philippines and the rest of Asia!

ECOFUN NIGHTLIFE TOUR

PHILIPPINE ISLANDS

"More than the usual sun, sea, and sand"

WHEN: FEBRUARY 28, 2007 TO MARCH 10, 2007

HOW MUCH: Single occupancy - US$2,950.00

Double occupancy - US$2,580 per person

We listened to what friends said they would like to do when they visit the Philippine Islands for the first time --- or the nth time. Their comments included: "We want lots of fun, a healthy environment, a sampling of what your nightlife is about, and a crash course in culture and history, too!"

The result is the ECOFUN NIGHTLIFE TOUR, an exciting and customized package that Travel Industry Professional Services, LLC set up for people who want to combine the best of "clean and green," ecologically-friendly Palawan, the cosmopolitan lifestyle of Metro Manila --- one of Asia's cutting-edge, finest cities --- and an inexpensive shopping spree at the popular Greenhills' markets.

ABOUT THE PHILIPPINES:

Asia's Beach Capital --- the Philippines: Endless, white, sandy beaches, an immense variety of marine life, rare and exotic sea flora and fauna, and the tropical party lifestyle are in abundance, rather than a rarity in this country. Evidently, the Philippines can very well be Asia's Beach Capital, what with 7,107 islands and a coastline that is twice the length of the United States. It is also home to Boracay, whose four-kilometer white beach has been hailed as the "finest beach in the world."

ITINERARY:

MARCH 1

Depart 1930H (7:30 pm) from San Francisco International Airport to Manila

DAY 1 – MARCH 3 SATURDAY

Arrive in Manila / Transfer to hotel / Rest of the day at leisure / Overnight at hotel

DAY 2 – MARCH 4 SUNDAY

Breakfast at hotel / Check-out hotel / Transfer to A. Soriano Aviation Hangar

0730H (7:30 am): Depart Manila for El Nido via Island Voyager

0900H (9:00am): Arrive El Nido / Transfer to El Nido Resort / Lunch & dinner at resort / Overnight at El Nido Resort

El Nido, among its many unique ecologically-friendly attractions, is the nesting ground of three species of endangered sea turtles: the Hawksbill, Green Sea, and Olive Ridley --- and the feeding grounds of marine mammals such as the elusive "dugong" (sea cow), whales, and dolphins. Among the species of whales sighted in El Nido are the Bryde's and Pilot whales, while dolphin species seen are the Bottlenose and Spinner dolphins.

Recognizing the ecological importance of El Nido's marine resources, the national government declared certain parts of the municipality as a Marine Turtle Sanctuary in 1984. In 1991, the government expanded the area and elevated the status to a Marine Reserve. In 1998, El Nido was declared a Protected Area to ensure protection of the area's marine and terrestrial resources.

With waters rich in marine life, El Nido offers excellent opportunities for diving. There are more than 20 dive sites within the area, all accessible from either of the El Nido Resorts. The dive sites range from gradual slopes to drop-offs, wall dives to reef flats, underwater tunnels to rock formations. Visibility is generally good, reaching to as much as 40 feet from March until June.

You need not be a diver, though, to be able to see the rich underwater world of El Nido. Shallow reefs, ideal for snorkeling, fringe many of the islands and islets. Even at such shallow depths of one to two meters, you will be rewarded with the sight of different kinds of corals and multi-colored fishes.

DAY 3 – MARCH 5 MONDAY

Breakfast, lunch, & dinner at resort / Overnight at El Nido Lagen

DAY 4 – MARCH 6 TUESDAY

Breakfast, lunch, & dinner at resort / Overnight at El Nido Lagen

DAY 5 – MARCH 7 WEDNESDAY

Breakfast at resort

Check-out resort / transfer to El Nido Airport

0930H (9:30 am) Depart El Nido for Manila via Island Voyager

1100H (11:00 am) Arrive in Manila / transfer to hotel

Rest of the afternoon at leisure or enjoy a relaxing visit to a spa  / Overnight at hotel

Accessible, convenient, and luxurious best describe the newly-refurbished InterContinental Hotel Manila. Situated in the heart of the premier financial district of the country, it is a stone's throw away from the top business, shopping, night life, cultural, and recreation centers of the metropolis. It is also mere 20 minutes from the international and domestic airports.

DAY 6 – MARCH 8 THURSDAY

1200H (12:00 noon): Lunch at a native restaurant

More and more people are discovering that the Philippines is Asia's most inexpensive shopping destination, where you can get the most value for your money. Here you can find imported name brands from the West, as well as products handcrafted in the Philippines --- from weaves, baskets, and brassware to hand-embroidered pina cloth, wood figurines, and all sorts of custom-made furniture, clothes, wedding attire, shoes, embroidered items, and many other accessories.

GETTING READY TO GO

PASSPORT REQUIREMENTS

Please be advised that while originally the US Department of State regulations stipulated that passports would be needed by January 8, 2007 for land and sea travel, recently passed legislation has deferred this date until at least January 1, 2008. However, all passengers traveling by air between the US and Canada, Mexico, Central and South America, the Caribbean, and Bermuda will still be required to present a valid US passport beginning January 23, 2007. Even if your cruise does not involve air travel outside the US, should you be required to unexpectedly depart a vessel prior to the end of the sailing, a passport would be required to re-enter the US by air. As such, Princess Cruises continues to strongly recommend that all passengers are in possession of a passport by January 23, 2007. Information regarding the passport requirements is available at www.travel.state.gov. Foreign nationals should contact their governments for further details.

Many countries require your passport to be valid for six months after the completion of your travel. Check your passport to verify it will be valid for this period of time. Please ensure the name on the passport matches the name on the booking. Additionally, ensure your passport contains blank pages for entry and exit endorsements and any visas that may be required. If necessary, allow sufficient time to renew your passport and/or obtain additional pages.

A valid passport is required of all non-US and non-Canadian citizens for all itineraries. It is also required of all US and Canadian citizens sailing on non-domestic itineraries including Africa, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand, Europe, India, Central and South America, South Pacific, and Tahiti.

For itineraries ending in 2006 in which a passport is not required, US and Canadian citizens who do not have a valid passport must provide the following proof of citizenship: A naturalization certificate or an original birth certificate from the state of their birth (a hospital certificate will not suffice) together with a valid, government-issued photo identification such as a driver's license. Although recommended, photo identification is not required for those 18 years and younger at the time of printing. US Resident Aliens are required to present, in addition to a valid passport, a valid Alien Resident card. Canadian permanent residents are required to present a valid Permanent Resident card in addition to a valid passport. On domestic cruises, ensure your travel documents are valid through the completion of travel.

For reservations, contact Lorna Dietz at lornadietz@gmail.com, (415) 508-5326.
