Anyway the deal is I'm looking for talented up and comers who might even own some of their own gear and who edit and who might be dope at VFX and so on and so forth I'm also gonna be looking for very beautiful Asian models who may even own their own Geisha attire.

I can't reveal the band here but will in time but all of this shoots next week and through the weekend. It's an incredibly crazy and challenging schedule with a laundry list of deliverables BUT HEY...this is the business right!!!???

We back from the UK where I kilt it!!! So much that I got 3 more videos to shoot out there in 3 weeks just after a HUGE video for a superstar I can't name just yet do to 'twitterology'...lol...

Yeah so this Friday it's goin' down...in the A...it's for my boy Yo Gotti who i worked with a few years ago for "That's What's Up" and he wanted me to do the original "5 Star" but label politics screwed that up and well as a result he got served up a less than video and he's furious over it so this time around he said "Rage I need this big look from you!" and yall know how I do...

Anyway, beyond the crazy rock videos I been doin' the Hip Hop in the UK and now some newer ones here as well as some jobs in Nashville it's been a crazy and very busy summer and the fall is looking even crazier cuz when you have to fly 8 hours both ways to the UK multiple times in a month that just is crazy!!!

BUT the British Pound is worth 1.60 US so even tho ya boy is just directing it's a real nice money look...cuz over here it's just gettin' worse and that's why all the Hip Hop and R and B videos be mostly garbage...even from my so called A List peers...and I'm just keepin' it 100 like I always do...so rather than lower my standards I'm just lettin' these other dudes play themselves and beat themselves all up so bad like they are the industry has to wake up again and they seem to be doing that...cuz "Imma Put It On Ya" my DAY 26 video and my "She's Gone" Brutha video and my "Kiss Me Thru The Phone" for Soulja Boy and man even "Pop Champagne" for Capo which is up for a BET Award are stellar visually to most anything else out there and I unlike the other dudes won't sacrifice my 'humble' legacy and thankfully I can genre hop and do Rock videos and travel abroad to still do me the right way!!!

which is why i've been coolin' it on hip hop vidz and focusing on rock videos again...see hip hop has not only lost it's soul it's lost it's budgets and yet the artists and labels still demand that high quality...so they've now settled for inferior directors which is fine, as it's an opportunity for them to get some shine BUT my phone has been ringing alot again lately because they are realizing that they may be able to go to some new guys for a 'basic video' BUT they MISS that star making look...

you see in rock, it's a different lifestyle and the wants and needs are simple, they're like 'yo rage make us look huge and tell us what to do!' where as in hip hop it's been 'yo rage, i need that big look but i also need the benz and the gear and all them big lights and that thing you do BUT my label sez i only have this much cash.'...(as of late) 

and like i said now it's like 'yo rage, i need that big look homie and all them other big thingz you do and here is the paper you need to  make it happen and ima lean back off all the other ish cuz my career is too important!'...

so they're starting to realize in today's twitter generation that their career of today is a but a fraction of an artist 10 years and 20 years ago...you are truly here today and gone tomorrow...and they realize a GREAT video will help sustain them where as a WHACK LOW BUDGET video will kill them off quick...used to be even a marginal video could hang around for a few years cuz labels had so much money back in the day and well now they don't...yall know the kind of artists i'm talking about and even some of the BIGGEST artists of this year will NEVER have another hit again...it's sad but true...you live by the sword you will die by it...

The reigning KING of METAL VIDEOS is back with a vengeance setting the visual record straight...that not all metal and rock videos need to SUCK and look like utter CRAPOLA shot on hand held cameras with no lights and then made to look orange and green!!!

From 2003 through 2005 I had 68% of all the videos on HBB (Headbangers Ball) according to the then programmer of that show at the MTV Networks.

METAL VIDEOS ON HBB HAVE REALLY SUCKED THE LAST COUPLE OF YEARS...which is why all or most of the labels I used to rock videos for have been reaching out to me begging for me to help them have some class again...and well...it all started after they started seeing my videos for my band on my imprint STRAIGHT LINE STITCH...

Then CANNIBAL CORPSE called, then DOPE called, then THREAT SIGNAL called, then ARKAEA called, then HED PE called, then MUSHROOMHEAD called, then HATEBREED called for their triumphant new studio album, then ADLELITAS WAY called, then THE STARS OF TRACK AND FIELD CALLED and all this like in 3 to 4 weeks...so from the streets of the ATL to the El Mirage Cali, to the deep woods of NJ to the warehouses in NYC to brutal Hardcore venues in CT me and my team have just been grinding non stop with the mission to make METAL look great again!!!

It's abundantly clear that they are all suffering from low budget looking horrible videos that a 3 year old could make if you strapped a camera to their head and told the to run around a band performing!!! SERIOUSLY!!!

So to be clear of what I'm saying METAL VIDEOS HAVE ABSOLUTELY SUCKED RECENTLY!!!! Videos for bands like Suicide Silence, The Agonist, White Chapel and others just make peoples EYES HURT!!! I'm not sure who is responsible for that kind of crap but someone needs to call them out and since there is no oversight committee who can bring these visual criminals up on charges, I'm stepping up and keeping it 100% real!!!

Yes, an opinion is an opinion however there is also common sense, logic and an overall balance in the universe. Water is wet, the sun is bright, black is not blue and well crap is crap...

If your in this for MONEY FIRST then you've already lost and you just quite now cuz you will not get anywhere unless your mom or dad own a Hollywood Studio and can green-light you for a big film...

THE MONEY will come eventually IF your work is good and gets better...
