We bought a jazz Gretch drumkit and a small fender tube amp in LA to go on tour with Jolie Holland for a month, Todd is coming with us to help on the road, he's the best, you'll see his face on the pictutres soon!
We started the west coast dates in Solana beach, near San Diego, where we met with Jolie's band(Jolie, Rachel, Dave and Sean) and her crew (Scott, amazing soundman, and Will), they're all lovely people and great musicians! It's a promising first show, thanks to Jolie and Chris (Jolie's manager) to have taken us on tour with them!!

In San francisco, we played a beautiful place called Bimbo 365



it was good to see our friend Kyle Field from Little Wings!

After the San Francisco show on the way to Portland, Oregon we stopped by the Muir woods, amazing coastal redwood forest with huge 800 years old redwood trees, where Hitchcock filmed some scenes of Vertigo.

We Went to the Bigfoot Lodge, on Los Feliz boulevard across the street from our label Everloving in Los Angeles for a DubLAb music video session(check out their website it's pretty cool!) Our session is not on line yet, but soon!

After our canadian shows, we went to the west coast, resting our bones in Venice, California for a week, not too far from our record label in the US, Everloving in Los Feliz, Los Angeles,


We found Zion in Venice beach i think!

In between trips to the beach, we had some time to do a showcase at Rhino records, in Claremont, for the US release of our new album. Happy to see Dennis Callaci who works there and released some of our previous albums on Shrimper records

David and I started our north american Zion tour 2 weeks ago now, in Toronto, Canada, surprised it was already that cold there

In the afternoon we looked for some Zion internet places
And we found The Beguiling, the comic book store where our favourite canadian comicbook artists like Joe Matt, Chester Brown and Seth hang out, so great to see the store and their drawings on the wall!

The first show of the tour was promising, lots of people show up and knew the songs by heart, especially the songs from our album "Not on Top", thank you to Juiie Doiron!
